Biggest regret

So who are the players that you missed out on and wished you had this year?
I would have to say Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth.
Gehrig because there was not one single thing in the extreme program I could complete and Ruth because I had no desire to grind through all the games.
Either way it's all good because I did get most guys I wanted, but it would have been nice to get a few of these others. -
Wish I could get mike piazza but too much cost for me
-
Never got Wagner. Put my 1 mil bid in back in mid October. Still no luck. Last Astro I need.
-
I was able to get every card, but I do miss that Signature Steve Sax card from his Dodgers days ( yeah, I know I would be the only one foolish enough to use it, but......)
-
Juan Gonzalez

I had Ted Williams for like 3 games, then sold him. Now hes out of my price range

I put in a buy order tonight. I had 1.2 mil in stubs, but at this point it really doesn't matter because I'm finished with the game anyway. Might as Well spend all the stubs for fun.

I have had to go back to starting him in LF often as he is by far my best hitter, even with Prestige Trout, Prestige Soto, Prestige Mantle, Mays, and Griffey..

I was in a slump when I bought him, so I was terrible with him. He had one weird animation in LF and I sold him. Now I am hitting decently again, especially w/ lhb, so I wish I still had him.

You and me both. I even made like 70k and thought I did good. Jeez

I wish I had started playing Mantle early when I got him. I struggled a LOT and gave up on him. I’ve only got like 20 hits with him. I’m not gonna prestige him now.
-
I regret Pearson just cause I don't have desire to grind through the conquest maps and I just can't beat the moments. I more regret is my inability to play the market. For example I pulled a couple Coles and Degroms and just sold them instantly instead of putting in sell orders or holding on to at least one, or buying that Matthewson postseason card when he was really cheap on the market and then his Price skyrocketed when Trout dropped. Missed out on tons of Stubs.

I should’ve pulled the trigger on him when he was 400k. Now he’s like double that.
-
Pedroia (was once in the 200k range now 1 mil)
Roberto Alomar (was once 500k now 1 mil)
Bob Feller (my ace last year now completely out of my range at 1 million and lots of orders)
Billy Wagner (i love my bullpen but he would have been amazing)
And Mike Piazza (my usual catcher in MLB the show games, i may still try to get him)
But i can't complain because i was able to get Ted Williams, Gossage, Sale, and Pujols for less then 700 each.
-
Billy Wagner is the only one. I remember seeing him for like 800K or something very early on. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing him.
-
Nobody. I got everyone I wanted this year. In fact, I haven’t owned SS Billy Wagner and Bob Feller, but I did have every opportunity to obtain them before they got ridiculous, Feller was available for a long time. I just chose not to pick them up because they’re fastball reliant pitchers in a year where fastballs get absolutely crushed and they can be tough to control.
-
I wish I put a buy order in for Wagner, I had Feller, sold him for a Mil, now I'm sure I'll never get him back.
-
Not putting buy orders in for these million stub cards earlier. I have Mays, but I think there is a fairly good chance I could collect every non-prestige card in the game if not for waitlists. I might just work my way up to putting orders in for all those cards and call it good enough
-
I honestly don't think I have any regrets as far as missing out. I got Ted for about 260k. I have Chipper. (was 7th in line) I held onto Goose and picked Mo as my 5th inning boss. I don't have 99 Wagner, but that's fine. His 94 is still really good. I hated Mays last year, and the other max price cards don't really interest me.
I don't have a usable Pedroia for my Red Sox build which is kind of upsetting, but I play Pearce there on that team and he is tons of fun to use. So I guess if I could go back I'd have picked him up when he was in the 200's
