I didn't use his early card (94?) but I have had his 99 since he came out. His swing is smooth and sweet. Personally I love it.

Me too, although I feel like they kinda did 99 Chipper a little dirty on his offensive attributes. I might sell mine and play Machado instead.

I don't think I'd ever sell him because there's zero chance I'd ever be able to get him back. I'm already struggling to spend the stubs I have....

I think it's overrated.

He's been my favorite player most of my life and I've used him as my #3 hitter in every baseball game I've ever played. I'm so familiar with that swing I love it. He literally can hit the ball anywhere, he'll be at third the rest of the year even with better cards available in my inventory.

Well, I can tell ya this, I hit almost 100 points higher with Ellsbury. My buddy tells me Chipper is so good. I’ve made myself play him at third for at least 40 games, I simply can’t hit with him. I hit like close to .330 with Jacoby. I think I’m like .240 with Chipper.

This, you're probably swinging at less than ideal pitches. Its why I struggled with Mantle for the longest. Gotta focus on hittable pitches.

You have to look at Griffey like a prototypical left handed pull hitter and look for the ball down and in.
