What to do with Willie Mays

I hit 460 with Mays in the event. Most of my other cards i'm hitting in the high 300's. I like him more than Mantle. I just wish we could prestige Mays.

What is your CAP build? Seriously considering one
I did velo closer with speed. The one with a 4 seam, Change up, and cutter. With right equipment he’s disgusting. Even when in red, he’s my go to in tight spots or as an opener. I use All star 28 or 23. Whichever is submarine. Made him 6’10 lol
Dude I just faced a guy who used this build as a closer and I didn't even make contact in the 9th and took the L.
They really are nasty bro I’m telling ya! Haha it’s just so tough to pick up from that arm slot and speed. I throw cutters breaking away from righties and low and in to lefties and it works. Doesn’t matter who is hitting
For equipment, what did you focus on? Mainly H/9 and K/9 or a bit of stamina, pitching clutch, BB/9?

Mays is my best card, I have feller Wagner sale chipper goose mays and 5 million in stubs ; I’ll never use any more stubs and i assume that’s the case for most people. So why would anyone sell him? His swing is pure butter

TroutIn that order for me , if going all around card then take Ruth out. Mantle and mays are almost equal cause Willie destroys righties so much, the fact his stealing was nerfed is what gives mantle the slight edge. The main collection reward is always supposed to stay as the premier card in the game. Last year Willie could steal also and that gave him the edge all year

You really use Ruth in the OF? I run Mantle Trout Girffey myself. Ruth is at 1B

I got my million in. 14 days and nothing yet. Maybe I’ll get him for Christmas

I focused on stamina and H/9 most because that effects PCI size for your opponent making it twice as hard to square him up

I just got Mays too. I don’t think he’ll start for me but I’ll use him off the bench. I’m not crazy stub rich but I honestly don’t really think I need 900k more right now. Doubt I’ll have much of anything left to buy.
Those million stub orders will be there the rest of the year so I’ll just hang on to him until I actually need the stubs

We all have our opinions, mine is Mays is the best outfielder in the game.

You keep him at this point in the game who needs stubs . His arguably the best 1-3 Outfielder in the game his the total package Power , Speed ,Defense (not great Base path stealer but who cares when you hitting moonshots ) . Griffey has Sub par Defense animations again this year so I’d go Personally , Mantle LF ,Trout CF , Mays RF , Best outfield in the game IMO.

All those cards AND 5 mil? Clearly I’m doing something wrong. I have 1.9 mil and none of those cards. I really thought I had accomplished something just by getting that many stubs.
