Why can’t we get this guys in the show
-
Bonds would need 200 vision
-
Yeah but vision honestly doesn’t matter in 2020 I seen Judge and other with low vision hit rockets out of the park, I would just thinking of players we haven’t seen and most of us remember watching, that all.
-
Also when I said contact I meant perfect, not late or sorta early I know the timing on this the show is mess up along with the pci there is been times where I should have pop up but it’s a home run , and others where I get a perfect perfect and it’s a line out.

The devs said that vision matters for the timing window.

It all comes down to $$$, those guys would comand a lot to get and in the case of Bonds it will never happen the closest we will ever see is Reggie Stocker.
-
Bonds was never part of the players union so he has never been in a game as bonds same with Kevin Millar.
-
Bonds also said that after he was found guilty of roids, he felt ashamed and didn't want to get mentioned as a part of baseball

Bonds was in games until 2005 as I recall, he was a monster in MVP Baseball.

I remember having to create Rick Reed every year in Triple Play Baseball as he was not in the union as well.
Didn't know Millar wasn't. -
I have worked with current and former players directly as far as licensing their images and paying royalties. It’s not difficult to acquire a player’s rights per se, the contracts we used were simple and didn’t even fill 2 pages. But it can be difficult to get a response: the effort in following up and communicating with player’s representation can be simple or an absolute pain. In the case of MLB The Show where they have secured a huge player pool including the rights of current MLB players as well as those who participate in the “blanket HOF” licensing, they wouldn’t spend too much of their time on overtures to secure any one particular player, say McGwire or Alfonso Soriano etc.
Not all HOF players participate in the licensing, and have to be contracted directly. This is the case for Mantle, Clemente, Aaron, and many others. It’s an interesting business to say the least.

Agreed! Bonds is the greatest hitter to ever live with Ted coming in second and it’s not even close. His vision was from another planet!

Didn't know Millar wasn't.Rick Reed wasnt in the union because he was part of the scabs that played during the strike of 94/95. He played in spring training 95 and wasnt part of the union due to that.
Edit: I didn't remember that Kevin Millar did the same.

Bonds was in a game I had on Sega Saturn. Don't remember the game name (Maybe All Star Baseball) but when he hit a no doubter he would pimp it at the plate.
