This game's timing windows. They're atrocious. That is all, everyone have a good Sunday.

Good doesn't mean good. It means. Almost perfect, fantastic, great, good, pretty good, above average, okay, mediocre, and awful. At least based on the results I get in game with "good" timing, that's how I see it. Ha ha

I sometimes think that the strike zone goes out triangularly from the box we see. Inside pitches are at a mountainous peak while outside pitches are in a valley.

I haven't played RS in months. Just played a few games and faced Nolan Ryan twice in a row on All-Star. First game I could not touch him. Like literally couldn't touch the fastball. Not even making late contact, just straight up getting blown away. Too late every single time. I'm like okay, well, I haven't played RS in a long time so maybe I just suck...

Next game I face him again and I'm like "great". Now all of a sudden I'm out in front of his 102, my opponent notices obviously and starts spamming curveballs and changeups (as would I) and no matter how long I sit back, I'm still early. Nothing but weak contact.

It's also worth mentioning that I was the home team on both occasions. I'm not gonna say I ever understood the timing windows this year, but this was like "ah yeah I remember why I stopped playing this garbage".

I particularly like the “just early” or “too late” I’m like so how close was I actually

Yep, I hate those RS games , whether on AS or HOF, where the fastball seems to warp in about 20 mph faster than normal. You just know from the get go you are screwed that game

What gets me is the ones where you KNOW you were right on the pitch and yet it somehow goes right through your bat as if it wasn’t there.

I hit a routine fly ball with Trout with slightly early timing and perfect pci placement and it was immediately time to go do something else with my day.

Your opponent easily smacks a early home run with trout to LF for 500 ft right after that, best thing you did was move on for the day lol

I'm dissapointed after reading that title.... The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen was a beat up Hundai pull up to the ER driven by a cracked out hooker wearing only a bra and fishnets... She then proceeds to get out and help one of two brothers out of the car, blood dripping from where his arm use to be... The other brother carrying the arm in one hand, and a samurai sword in the other gets out and helps walk him into the ER... a few minutes later security comes over and wants to know who's car is illegally parked in the fire zone... I told them to give them a few minutes because they seem like they're having a bad day... So, now to the ridiculous part... Neither brother actually appeared to be a samurai...

I hit a perfect fly ball with Finest Soto last night vs a Billy Wagner fastball. Result a triple off the wall. Man has 125/125 vs lefties. Should’ve been 500’ plus.

The game is in such a bad place, hitting is game to game, pitching is close ur eyes and hope it goes where u want. It also doesn’t help when your opponent has McDonald’s wifi and the lag is annoying just making the game even more fun

The game felt especially bad today. And not the usual "this game sucks" bad because I think most of us are used to that by now.

But it legitimately felt all over the place. The pitch speeds felt faster than the last event that was actually on Hall of Fame. I ran into a GOLD Mark Buehrle out of the bullpen and I was late on his weak-[censored] fastballs down the middle. It just felt like a complete guessing game in terms of trying to get my timing down in pretty much every game.

And not just on my end. I pitched against players that had cards with some healthy batting averages that I was making look absolutely foolish. I have faith in my sequencing, but I was making these dudes look like they never played the game before with off-speed. In pretty much every game I played today, we ALL looked like idiots on anything slow. It was strange to say the least and completely unrewarding on either side of the L.

Not played since Thursday, so I can’t comment on day to day changes. I hope they get it figured out for next year though, I’ve been disappointed with gameplay and underwhelmed by content this year. I can’t say I’ve had issues with pitch speeds and timing windows this year, but I’ve limped around in all star most of the year. Fastballs should be fast, no issues there. Speed differentials are just about the only effective weapon pitchers have this year, to be fair. Issue with content is, every card is so juiced, it all feels generic.

I’d be happy you got rewarded instead of an absolute dart at the second baseman or a launch angle of 7 that rises to the right fielders glove.
