I just wanna play, so I usually decline friendly quits but I do it friendily.
Although I always accept a FQ if the RNG just screwed the other guy over.
-
my question is why are people offering friendly quits in event games like if you don't want to play you shouldn't have started

I’m still amazed when they decline my friendly quit offer.......before the first pitch, AND AND we have the same pitcher on the hill. Bro do you really think I give a ratz Azz if I take the L for quitting. Given how f*cked up this game is, who gives a sh!t about an L?! These losers would rather spend an hour of their time seeing the same pitcher than give a friendly. It doesn’t even affect you’re record for the love of god man!!!
You coming on here and complaining kinda shows you do give a ratz Azz if you have to take the L. ALso you can sub in a different pitcher to use technically....FIO.

I never accept FQs unless it’s a bad stadium or I’m playing a goon on HOF. Deal with it
Exactly why they need to go.

I’ll play anyone on legend. I don’t wanna play good players on hof and have 15+ runs each
-
hall of fame is not good for a comp game imo. I feel the same way abt hof as many players feel abt AS

I just don't like cherry pickins opps

That’s fine. I just wanna get above 900 so I can snipe top players on LEGEND. To each their own. Most top players don’t wanna play good players on HOF bc of this
-
I declined a fq last night hoping the guy would quit. Then, I lost. Ha.
-
Lol, this thread is hilarious. I just ignore your fq. If you don’t want your pause timer to run out then you’ll withdraw it or quit out for a loss and I’ll gladly accept the win. Have a good day

I think it's fun when we both have the same pitcher. Next level brain games lol.

I'm guessing your just looking for an easy matchup. stop sending FQs like a scrub and play the game
Lmao

I dont understand how this bothers people. I dont quit when my opponent had mantle or Trout because I do. It effects nothing both guys having the same pitcher. WTH do you do if you have different starters but for the last 4-5 innings of the game yall both use the same relievers? How is that different? That is even worse. because you know everyone is going to Chapman, Rollie, Wagner, Jansen and maybe a couple others.

I accept those all the time, offered one last night and got it denied. We both had Seaver at the mound and was nice to see the differences between me and my opponent when it comes to mixing pitches with the same guy. I actually enjoyed it
-
It depends on the circumstances, but I'd usually decline it too. Best one I had was a game yesterday, up 12-6 in the 8th. Why am I going to FQ a game that I'm clearly using guys I'm trying to prestige (Veteran Hanley, POTM Didi, 97 Bellinger etc.) that have got hits, and give up on those hits and runs I've worked hard to get? Makes no sense!

i'd just like to be able to GET to HOF as I consistently get stuck in the high 6's to mid 7's and end up playing mostly AS games which kind of feel like a crapshoot.

I don’t ask for the friendly and always give it a shot against top competition (which is all I seemed to pair with). I’m a gold player with a 25-26 record. I’ll quit after an inning if I’m losing by 5 or more and let the opponent get the stats in.
That said, if it were the other way around, I’d be bored as hell as a 100 prestige World Series GOAT player going against someone like me. I’d want to compete against better players. Playing a guy like me is like an MLB team playing a high school team.
I guess to that extent, I’d take the friendly quit. But the whole “He has these players” excuse to quit is weak, we all have great players now. I have a stacked team and can still strike out 18 times in a game!
-
I don't understand what is the big deal about both players using the same starting pitcher. Why is that something that makes people want to friendly quit?
-
When we connect for a game, I’m there to play. I’m not accepting a FQ, because most of the guys that request one just quit after I decline anyway. Stop cherry picking and play
