I swear I was skipped in line for Mays I believe I was 160th -170th In line smh .
I was just about to post the same exact thing! My order was placed 11/2/20 6:18pm est. I was 168 ( in the 160’s for sure ) and now it’s around 201 sold! What do I do? What gives here? Who do I contact? There is definitely something off.
Please help. Thx.
- Really nothing you can do . I think the same thing happened with chipper people where being skipped in line kinda a joke if you ask me . I’ve had a order for chipper for the longest and it still hasn’t been filled smh -
Did you guys filter out the duplicates?
Because there are duplicates. -

I just counted 201 sold. I should have gotten mine already.
There are 96 sold. Duplicates are a glitch, which is just a replication of the same sale.

Because there are duplicates. No, I would think the duplicate time stamps are just a multiple of cards sold during that minute...
Is this a thing? Why the heck would there be duplicates when this is the only way ( which is ridiculous ) to track your place in the queue!AND... HOW WOULD WE KNOW WHAT ARE DUPE’s if multiple cards are sold in the same minute?

Four Mays cards sold at the same time and then a short time later four more at the same time and so on, when there are only maybe around 17 sold in its entirety for a 24 hour peiod. Throw out the dupes, and you'll have your count

I did not know this duplicate glitch thing was a thing thanks for the heads up .

Thx Broseph... explains this ridiculous stupidity of a process.

The odds of getting a same time sale for Mays, and a same time sale for a common or bronze, aren't remotely related. It's easy to see the glitch on an expensive card.

Thanks again... sucks I have been counting the past few days every card sold thinking I was getting him soon. Feel deflated.

Lmao where are all the people saying Willie Mays would be like 700k? I remember reading that he won't be a mil for a while but honestly I see him never dropping below a mil from here on out. Too many people flush w millions of stubs (not to say that's bad I love the stubs being plentiful) but they seriously need to consider getting rid of a 1 million stub limit on these cards next year. At best Mays becomes less than a mil next ranked season when some people get him twice.

I'm further down than you, and I'm actually elated. Never did I dream that they would sell off Mays this go around, but rather that they would wait until the next ws to earn him again to sell. I mean, they are ws players and they're supposed to be good. Are they that [censored] stub poor that they'll sell off Mays, and wait until the next ws to play with his card. I guess they are.

I’ve been asking myself the same thing - what purpose does it serve to cap bids out at 1,000,000 stubs? First year playing, can anyone help me better understand?
-
Can you imagine what the cost of top cards would be if they removed the cap? You already have nuts ( myself included) who have flipped so much they have millions upon millions of stubs that will never be spent, you remove the limit and people will go crazy and the average fan of the game will raise hell

That's a fair point, however it is important to admit the way it works now is also flawed. Especially with a fan favorite such as Mays, most people with 1 mil can't even purchase him if they wanted to because there was basically a race to put an order in. If you happened to not be in top 100 it's practically useless just waiting. Surely there is a better system than both of these extremes.
-
Just to keep the tally going, I believe I was right around 100 in queue and I got my Mays around about an hour and a half ago (10:30am EST).

I agree 100%, I don’t like the super legends being end game Exclusive rewards......but they do it every year, and like you said, they have flooded the market with stubs so those that get him have no reason to sell him....I was lucky to be in the first 20 orders to get him and he is fantastic, so I get the unrest
-
Agreed. It’s a bummer they put super popular guys like Mays and Chipper behind this extensive (orders-wise) pay walls. I wasn’t bothered by the early flawless rewards being exclusive. Even Wagner, I was bummed I wouldn’t get him but could live without. Mays and Chipper are too popular to have done this way.
Chipper they knew would be popular and if they had been tracking the way stubs are piling up, they had to know Mays would be hard to obtain.

If Chipper and Mays were meant for the average fan/player this year then they wouldn't have made them BR and WS rewards.
