    -Mike Honcho

Seriously, where’s my Championship Series peeps at who are sick of living in the 700-800s all season(with occasional dips in the 600’s)? I’m getting after it this season. I’ve accomplished my goal of going Flawless in BR(2x) which I thought would be much harder than WS. Now it’s time to focus on RS and get it done. Adding Griffey and Seager to my lineup is a good start. Now if I can stop striking out so [censored] much, particularly with Mantle and Trout I’ll be ok.

Who else is getting to the promised land this season?

I don't want to have to deal with the constant pitch speed change. I'm good.

Same here. Been stuck in championship series the past two or three seasons but just can’t get over the hump to World Series.

I'm thinking that I might go for it. My problem is that there has just been so much other stuff to do and I have hard time seeing uncompleted things in other other parts of the game. But, I've been collecting all these cards all year. Maybe now is the time that I go after it. Also, playing the even on HOF has built up my confidence that maybe I actually have a chance.

The highest I've gotten is DS this year, but I have not really played enough to know where I actually stand. I made CS twice last year. So...I'm with you.

I am at 868 right now. Hoping to make that final push today, but I figure if I lose two games I’m done for the season. I’ve never made World Series I’ve never gone 12-0, I’ve never been to Paris, so this would be a huge achievement for me

I was a game away last season, and two strikes away from a game away this season (thanks, pitching). All I really want to do is make WS once this year so I can stop caring so much and focus more on other games until 21 comes out.

Sigh... I wish I had these problems. I am forever stuck in the 600-698 (highest I've been) range, and will have to be content with that. I'll let all you younger guys fret about WS.

I feel this way too. RS is such a different animal from the rest of the gameplay. I spent a lot of my time playing events, BR, moments, etc. I feel like I’ve gotten pretty good at those things, but when it comes to RS I’ve just been a little better than average/decent. I want to be good enough to make WS any season that I put the time into.

I stopped caring about RS in May. Played 1 season, made it to WS on a 30-4 record and basically retired on the spot. Hated every game, faced nothing but Kluber and Hal, got my 4 losses on nothing but nonsense and won at least 5 games in a similar fashion. The game was wildly inconsistent back then with the fielding and nerfed hitting (it's still a mess, but at least the fielding is fixed). So I preferred my sanity and didn't bother until they fixed things. And once they did "fix" it, I had no urgency or desire to play anymore.

It's also hard because the games take so long. So, to play 3 games you have to spend a solid, focused 2 hours. And, if you go 1-2, you are worse off than you were when the day started. And when you are frustrated at 1 AM, its too easy to just hit the start button one more time and then just get destroyed because you're in the wrong mind set.

That being said, I might go all in for a chance at Mays. I've never done it. But, I have almost every non BR or WS card in the game. So, I've got the squad. I have to see what I'm made of.
