I have Mixed feelings. Very mixed feelings about this.
Fellow Tigers fans, we need a good manager for our struggling team, but with his role in the Asterisk cheating scandal... do we forgive?

Cheating aside Hinch knows how to manage a team during a rebuild. I’m all for it. Cheater or not, as least Detroit didn’t hire a 76 year old that hasn’t managed in 10 years

I’m happy with it. I know it’s an unpopular theme. But whatever. I used to be a probation officer. I firmly believe that once someone has done their time they deserve a second chance.
This is his second chance.

I'm starting to thing along those lines, too. And if he can pick our team up and train all the young talent we have, I think I'm willing to accept him and let bygones be bygones.

I won’t be surprised when the Tigers go from 50-112 to 112-50 in one year.

Astros went through a lot of managers while rebuilding. They got Hinch once it was done. Plus the building is more of a front office thing. This is new territory for Hinch. But he manages from a computer so, shouldnt matter too much.

I understand how you feel, but I highly doubt the game has passed Tony by. He does nothing but win!
