Where do most of you set up with you’re pci? Inside? Over the plate? I’m sure it depends on the hitter and pitcher. Just curious?

I always set mine up at the pitchers release point and track the ball from there. I’m not the greatest hitter but that’s what works for me lol

I start mine in the center of the plate. I feel that I can get to everything in the zone better that way

I usually start right where I think the pitch will be and then when the pitch goes there I jam it to the complete other side of the strike zone and make sure to swing late. I went about 7-20 in event games today. So, I hope that helps.

My worst feeling is overreacting to pitches right down the middle. Sometimes I can track a low outside breaking pitch perfectly, but give me a meatball and my PCI winds up in another time zone.

Depends. If the person is constantly spamming inside then i cheat inside but for the most part i keep it just above center to account for natural tendencies to drop.

I do the exact opposite lol. Inside middle for lefties and upper center for rhb

It's weird because with lefties I can control the pci very well, but with righties I can't move inside at all if I don't cheat inside.

I start slightly high and in so I can sit on the high cheese and it gives me time to read anything away and still get to it with the PCI.

Another big part is just having a consistent thumb placement on the sticks so it’s in a position to react all over the zone comfortably. Being conscious of this helps me focus a little more too.

LOL. That's me. My left thumb, my eyes and my brain are not on speaking terms.

I usually start just a little higher than center. But like MathMan...I usually jam the PCI to complete wrong spot and miss the ball that came right through the heart of the plate. God, I suck at hitting!

Depends on the pitcher and the situation. But I can drop it and get it out much quicker than I can go up so typically I keep it slightly in and up.

When I'm facing righties with righty batter I sit middle in. Lefty Batter low and away. Facing Lefty pitchers with Righty batters I stay dead middle. Lefty batters I sit middle inside.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I got an online hit on a fastball right down the middle. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one.

I’m the king of overcompensating! I’m usually under the pitch or too much side to side. Very rarely am I on top of the ball.

On lower levels I put my PCI over a hitters highest cold zone. People can't resist it. I have so many homers with Ellsbury from people going at his cold zone up and in.

Haha....so true! I usually start mine in the middle of the zone. I'll move my stick slightly side to side, up and down, before the pitcher starts his delivery and then I'll end up in the middle of the zone. I feel like by starting it there I can cover all parts of the strike zone. However, like MathMan said, once it's time to swing my PCI is jammed in a completely different direction or far to much in the right direction.
