I honestly think Voit is a one year wonder. Arozarena way too early to tell.
Voit, when healthy, has pretty consistently put up these type of numbers since he joined the Yankees. I've been saying he's just a flash in the pan for three years and he just keeps proving me wrong. I'm sold at this point.
I don't think he has put up numbers like he did this year, did he? I could be wrong because I did not check his career stats before posting this comment, but this year he was in the MVP conversation while last year he wasn't even amongst the best hitters on the Yankees. And well, the Cardinals did get rid of him so I doubt he made much impact there.
in 2018, he had a 1.095 OPS for the Yankees in 39 games
In 2019, he had an injury that hampered him, but pre-injury he had a 140 wRC+

He definitely didn't do anything with the Cardinals. Even when he first got to the Yankees he was in AAA for a bit. But since joining the Yankees he's played 213 games and gone .273/.372/.543 with 57 HR and 147 RBI with 6.3 bWAR. I'm not sure if he'll ever replicate what he did this season, but I do think he'll remain a very good hitter.
Fair enough, well time will tell if he can keep it up. I hope so for his sake and for Yankees fans.

Mozeliak and Girsch need to go. Also, our scouts are pretty awful at evaluating talent for offense.. Can't say the same for pitching. They've drafted well and developed alot in to the major leagues. No issues there.

Voit was dealt because he is a poor defender and didn’t project well offensively for Busch III (or anywhere except Yankee Stadium). The Cards did get their best reliever (over last two years) in return.
Nothing Arozarena is doing is remotely sustainable. I’ve seen tons of guys in lifetime do well in first 100-200 major league at bats. He’s going to fall. Soon. And they got one of the best lefty arms in the minors in return. Even TB didn’t think he’d do this. It took lots of failing of the many guys ahead of him on depth chart to fail.
Mo is a top 5 exec in the league.

LOL, good one! I guess you don’t remember the 90’s. I’d rather be competitive and a contender for the post season every year, than in the cellar every year and you go for it once every 10 years. The past 20 years the Cards have been in the post season......A LOT!!! The way the playoffs are structured now, all you gotta do is get in!!

Funny...........when they were here all I heard was “LaRussa’s an idiot!! He needs to go!!!” You have no idea how many fans hated LaRussa!! I heard about everyday on the radio. All I’m sayin is, Voit and Randy A showed absolutely no signs of what they’re doing now. Previous gentleman is correct we did get a top tier everyday reliever for Voit. Mo isn’t perfect but he’s pretty good!

He does? Doesn’t seem so to me away from Yankee stadium this season
His splits were the complete opposite the last two years. He hit much, much better away from yankee stadium in both of those years. Don’t cherry pick stats. He was probably more comfortable playing there this year or somethinf like that.
