Can you help me understand what the friendly quit is about? Sometimes it happens in events and I’m even further confused about that.

Can you help me understand what the friendly quit is about? Sometimes it happens in events and I’m even further confused about that.
I am not 100% sure how it works but they ask for a friendly quit and if you hit cancel or something then they get everything in their favor. Bloop hits, bad PCI home runs, errors galore their favor. No matter what you do everything goes against you. So now I just accept the quit and just have to start a whole new game

Yea I don’t think that’s how it’s done. You’re not getting back at the person who did it to you, you’re doing it to someone else who didn’t.
I have lost a ton of stats from being dashboarded. I never have and never will do it no matter what. I see zero point in it. If I’m that frustrated with the game at that point I will let it land and then quit.

Meh.
If I've lost several games in a row, the game hangs one of my pitches on good or perfect input, and the other player gets a homerun... 50% chance I'm turning off my ps4 before I throw my controller at the wall or my monitor.
Sometimes it just gets that frustrating.
Usually I try to let the homerun land so players can get stats, but when the game has been [censored] me for multiple games in a row - especially in events where I'll play over an hour and not get a single win, well the ps4 might be going off. (If I've already almost broken my controller that day....)
Note this is specific to this event. I want the Goose and I have 43 wins.

It's non-stop in this event, I don't get it! It's an event game! For the love of god let a man get his prestige stats. I swear that 50% of my home runs are getting dashboarded.
Why is it so prevalent in this event? I don't get it. You still get an L. Do event losses seriously upset people that much? Just re-enter, it's FREE!
Agreed kind sir. I'm thinking " You cant score 1 measly run in 3 innings?!" I've won plenty of games being down 1 or 2 runs.

If you don’t see that these two statements are completely contradicting each other than you are clearly too stupid to explain it to. Also, you’re not giving out any W’s when you quit when you’re getting beat. You were going to lose anyway toots.

Lots of soft people in this community who were clearly raised in the participation trophy generation. Sounds like a lot of you were supposed to be picked last in gym class, but you’re teacher didn’t allow it so you’re feelings weren’t hurt.

mate its not about the homer problem - i am super happy to dish out W's all day long here - get that goose baby you know what i am saying?
i just want to be crushing rookies and speed through events - sometimes i can do a quick run of 8-1, sometimes i lose 6 straight - events as we all know is a crapshoot at best so lets just make it fly byyyyyyyy
