The guy was an undrafted free agent and has less than 300 career at bats. He just hit a game winning homer against, arguably, the best closer in this current generation to win a playoff series. If that isn’t a reason to love baseball and sport in general I really don’t know what is. Everyone outside of la, Houston, and Atlanta is rooting for the rays, right?
Also, just a question in general...what caused Chapman to throw at this guy in the first place? Was it just a flex to show the rays who’s boss or had something else happened between these two teams earlier in the year?

What an incredible at bat and home run. Congrats to the Rays. Beat those cheating trash can bangin asteriks.

I hope they beat the dodgers too. Going into tonight I think anyone that isn’t a fan of the asterisks, the Yankees, or the yankees west wanted a Rays-Braves world series

I gotta be honest, I was hoping to see Chapman decapitate Altuve. But I got the next best thing! Hopefully Glasnow won’t tip his pitches again and the Rays can beat the cheaters!!!

Lol, Chapman with that same S eating grin this year that he had last year when he gave up the Yankee eliminating HR. Gotta love it.
On a side note Chapman has a pretty good split finger pitch this year.

Man that has to sting that the Astros are still playing while the Yankees and Cubs are home watching.
