Padres with be back. It's a shame their all their starters and closer are hurt. This could have been a great series.

This exactly. Hosmer is great offensively but his D since he became a Padre has been very disappointing. I've got no idea how he won multiple gold gloves with KC but with the Padres he's looking more and more like a DH candidate.

I'd agree. I dont know how many teams could loose their top 2 starters for the postseason and have success. Dodgers are that good and they still could've won but it would have been a lot more competitive.

He wasn't that great with KC. I watched almost every game when he was here. Waaaaay overrated on defense.

Maybe now SDS can focus on getting us a real player's card like Mookie instead of deciding which Padre to bump in the rosters update this week. But I sure enjoyed watching your beloved Padres get upset at the Dodgers celebrating when they have been the one doing it all year. They may be on their way to the NLCS, but this year they will need tickets!

I’m not sure what your gripe is. The Dodgers get a lot of love from SDS. They have as many card as anyone except maybe the Yankees and Braves.
If you’re talking about Live Series cards, I mean, only Trout and deGrom have a higher overall diamond than Mookie Betts. Keep in mind, the Dodgers players came in with higher cards to begin with. Can’t bump up what’s already up.

I've been wanting to get the perspective on this from someone who watches a lot of Royals games. Did Hosmer win 4 gold gloves as a Royal? I know he has at least one because every single broadcaster, including the Padre broadcasters are continuously referring to him as a "gold glove first baseman". I thought I recently heard someone say he had 4, maybe it was during the Padre/Cardinal series but I can't remember. Watching nearly every Padre game I just don't see how he is close to a gold glove first baseman at all! Best case, I would consider him to be below average. From his footwork around the bag, to digging out balls, fielding ground balls, even the most simplest of things like catching a ball thrown to you by one of your infielders! I was just curious to get the perspective of a Royals fan who watched him a lot during his so called "gold glove" years. I like his bat, good solid hitter, with some decent pop and a good RBI guy, but man, very disappointed in his defense and not at all what I thought we were getting when we signed him.

Apparently Mookie is well below average against left handed pitching. I can’t believe how heavily they’ve skewed his LS attributes.

November is one of my favorite months of the year. All Of sudden the world is a little less blue, Dodger fans everywhere are in hibernation, Dodging the payback trash talking due to them after yet another year of being picked to win the World Series and somehow choking. despite having everything an organization needs to succeed. I’m 31 years old and I’ve never seen a Dodger championship! (the Marlins didn’t exist when I was born and they since won 2 championships to the delight of all 37 of their fans ) I do enjoy November though...the month of silence Dodger fans take to honor their dead hopes and dreams of a World Series that year

Going to be interesting to see who trades for Pham this off-season. Although, maybe the season was too short for him to wear out his welcome yet.

My biggest pet peeve was the way he swiped at low throws. No coach would ever teach that. He missed a few because of that. I was always waiting for him to swipe it into left field. It was that flagrant I was never that impressed with his bat either. Seemed to come alive in the post season. Maybe my expectations were too high from all the talk about him since draft.
