If he's not in the game by now. I don't think it's on SDS, there are certain things that need to be done in order to be in the game. He has to fill out the paperwork and be approved by both MLB and the union.
Maybe he has a existing deal in Japan that conflicts with the MLB one. I don't know but I doubt they're holding him out of of the game just for kicks. -
