I just don’t see them completely devaluing a high diamond LS card with an even better card that is available for free.

I look at certain teams and wonder who it really could be. The Phillies for example. You would think it'd be Bryce Harper, but He already has a diamond and a gold. It could be Realmuto, but he again, has a diamond. Maybe Nola gets the juiced card, or maybe the hot new arm Zach Wheeler

Posey is the face of the Giants past and kind of sort of present but with that 99 card at Silver 1 I think they give some of these to either the veteran or the dominate youngsters. I personally hope Crawford is the Giants pick. The last two years have been tough with his lower rated cards. I need a good Crawford card this year!

Crawford did have a gold flashback last year. His hitting just isn’t good enough to be exciting. It could be similar to Buxton for the twins though, just at shortstop and slower.
I think Brandon belt would be a better choice, just because he’ll actually have usable offense. Sure, he’s not exactly who you think of when talking about the face of the giants franchise, but options are limited and he has been there since 2011.

True. The Baby Giraffe would be cool. Let's never forget his 21 Pitch, 16 Foul, 12 Minute at bat from 2018 haha. I'd still prefer a Crawford diamond.

I liked using him, just saying I don’t think they could boost his offense enough to give him a diamond.
Crawford in 16 was my favorite card.

I wonder how much they care if there are other similar cards out there for the same player. After all, as I understand it, these cards are only available as Team Affinity rewards and are "No Sell" cards.
For the Cardinals, Molina is in real life The Face of the Franchise, probably followed by Carpenter at this stage. Goldschmidt could vie for the title when those two retire. Flaherty is a future Face of the Franchise if he keeps up his dominance.

For the Cards, I hope it’s DeJong, I’ve always hit well with him. I doubt it’s Flaherty since his live series is a diamond.
