These extreme cards are nothing more than bragging rights. None of them are good enough to make the starting lineup of anyone who's been playing all year. Not worth the grind unless your OCD makes you have a need to have to have everything complete.

This last little while has been a big ol' swing and a miss...

I dont think it's their fault, per se. They are adding the extreme missions for people that want the challenge. Good. But I'm not sure what cards they could have locked in that program that, really, would have been worth it. It's for the people that want the challenge. I get it. I'm not sure I'll spend too much time with it if it isn't going well. But that's the thing, they're making something for everyone. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to. And they didn't lock in must-have cards behind the program to make people mad. If the program was Gehrig, Griffey and Mays, people would have been pissed, and rightly so. I see no problem with the actual program, and I say that as someone who probably won't grind it if it proves to be too difficult.

They're never going to lock top end cards behind a program that probably 5% will ever finish. 5% might be high actually.

Anyone from the below list would have made for a better reward based on what's needed at this point in the game cycle:

    Andrew Miller
    Randy Myers
    Dan Quisenberry
    Hoyt Wilhelm
    Mike Marshall
    Joe Nathan
    Sparky Lyle
    Tug McGraw
    John Hiller
    Dave Righetti

It would [censored] off too many people. Unless they wanted to make them sellable I guess.

Entire point is to make them exclusive without relying on deep stub pockets. Seems perfectly reasonable imo

This would’ve been a perfect spot to release Honus. Rare card should be hard to get.

The first extreme was probably the closest to that, Yadi and Kemp were top tier cards then but are very replaceable with all these new types of cards. Yadi is probably behind two different Future stars catchers at this point lmao.

Considering I will not be able to complete these, I'm glad none of them are guys I want for my squad.

Sure, but if they put Mays, Griffey, or Chipper in there I would imagine you would anger a pretty high portion of the playerbase.

I dont really care myself. I'm happy with my team as is, but I can see people being angry.

Been waiting all year for Gehrig, and will never get him.

I guess there's always next year.

How exactly is this an L? It's more content that SDS is providing for free. If you don't like any of the new cards then don't play the moments, it's simple. Not surprised at the amount of entitlement every time SDS decides to give us more free stuff that doesn't have maxed attributes.

Yeah, I’m not a big complainer about content, but these cards aren’t even slightly appealing to me. I’d have given the Pearson a spin for fun, but it’s whatever.

I would say 'L' as in Letdown if anything.
This Gehrig program is a loss as in loss of mind, lol.
Some of this will be tough af! Did i see all MLB teams on the small Extreme Conquest map??! I do love the challenge, for sure. The Ruth program gave me hope to hit on HOF.
The saving grace is not everyone needs Lou or the other two this late in the season.
MLB '20 is my GOTY, and i play a lot of other games. Amazing content all season, SDS.
You can say it's a win to see what the Youtube providers/greats at this game will do because they will make vids of this program.

I think saying that it's a letdown is a fair assessment considering what a lot of people in the community were hoping for as rewards and what we got (e.g. having Gehrig as a reward when babe was just released not too long ago). But considering how much more annoying the moments were last year and how much worse the rewards were, I can't complain.

I'm not necessarily going to say it was an L, but the rewards have def made me decide I'm not going to try more than the bare minimum to try these extreme modes out. I might give it a shot here and there, but I'm not going to stress about getting cards that would be comparable to cards I already have and like using.

Oh Gehrig was end game for me last year, so was really looking forward to his card this year.
