Being prestige xp doesn’t mean you’re good.. a lot of prestige players suck, everybody gains XP

That is true the point I was making with that is that they either spent either more time and/or money with on the game. And I feel that there is weirdness and bugs that happen more frequently when playing prestige players.

So are you saying the person with more experience and who puts more time/practice into the game shouldnt be better than a 1st year player? I wouldn't give up after 1 year, just play more and get more experience, this game has always had a steep learning curve.

    tl;dr:

OP decides to load into "RANKED" seasons and expect to mash the same as him playing Veteran/AS in Conquest against the CPU...gets creamed in Wild Card and decides to make a cry post on here. Par for the course.

Why would you be done? You quit? I’ve never tried to get to WS, I play enough to get the first diamonds and quit. I think I could make it, after a long grind but I’d prefer to play the other content like events and moments. Also I play other games so I don’t spend all week playing. If I did, I’m sure I’d get there but i wanna play war zone too lol

I mean... this is your first year playing competitively, so expecting to make WS in that first year is to high a goal.

I started in 2016 and didn't make WS until 2019.

Not saying there aren't a ton of issues with the game, there is a laundry list of annoying/stupid things. But my point still stands.

This is my 1st year playing this game, so a lot of this is new to me... But it took you 3 years before you made it to WS level? How many times did you make it that year and since?

I'm experiencing so much online BS that I can't imagine ever making it. I got to 700 this last season, this season I'm legit in the 400's right now after going like 2-10 or something. I'm losing most of my games by 1 or 2 runs and right now am going through a spell where I can barely see a 93mph fastball from Greinke and if I am up by only 1 or 2 in the 8th 9th it's a guaranteed loss.
Are guys who make WS just scoring a ton of runs?

I made it to WS every season besides the 1st season in 2019. I've made it to WS twice this year, but mostly because of a lack of trying. I grinded ranked a lot early, but mostly switched to events, (as well as a lot of showdown). I've only now started playing ranked a bit more again.

In general, probably most people make it by scoring a lot of runs, but I've never been an elite hitter, I usually hit around .280-.300, but I'm good at taking walks and can usually manage a .360 OBP.

Can we play a friendly? I want to see where I stand against a known skill level. I think it will give me some clarity on what to focus on to improve.

Sure, maybe this weekend, I just started a new job so I don't know my hours yet. Though I've been slumping a couple weeks, so I'm probably not the best example of a known skill level lol.
