I just played a game where is struck the kid out 25 times, his timing was either too early or too late on 99% of the pitches, and miraculously lose. I out hit the guy and was getting good pci placement the entire game but nothing was falling. Of course he was on like 3 pitches and they all left for home runs. I feel like their should be some sort of penalty for a ton of strike outs, like a decrease in pci size and it should make it even harder for them to get good placement.

It does. Strikeouts increase confidence which does everything you've listed.

strike outs do not decrease the PCI size. That would be the pitcher's h/9 attribute. Higher confidence equates to locating your pitches better.

    Confidence also effects pci size

Since when? I've never noticed a difference in the PCI against someone with high or low confidence. Is there a source you can point me to that says it?

Happend to me ALL the time. People strike out 15 o more and hit me 4 HR. This game rewards them cause can't hit you with homers.

    Some people called RNG...

    This is the correct answer.

If you're swinging for the fences every single time, you're going to miss a lot. But when you connect, it's leaving in a hurry.
