How does this guy continue to get better with age??? He’s having his best season ever in his age-39 season.

Such a strong but simple swing. Love watching him. Twins have had good luck getting nice seasons out of star players at the end of their career (Winfield, Molitor, Thome, etc).

I guess playing as a DH gives him an opportunity to solely focus on becoming a better hitter, he gets to keep his legs fresh and let’s not talk about that nice and smooth swing of his.

The DH helps tremendously!! Let’s face it he wouldn’t see the field in the NL and if he did he’d break down eventually. But the other thing helping him is he really doesn’t get hurt......at all!
