I'm terrible with Wagner.
Man, me too (I am better with the 94 version)! I have to assume it's due to most of the games (event) on All Star...Hopefully this next one is on HOF.

I am TERRIBLe with Wagner as well man...i had to take him out of my bullpen...i think i have lost like 5 games because of him (actually because of me not knowing how to pitch with him?)

I've found with Chapman that I can't just try and throw hard with him by my analog movements. I try and just go smooth and controlled and take my time. He throws fast whether you try and amp it up or not. Add in that if you're patient and take your time with each pitch, the other player will be a little more likely to be a little slower reacting. Just an idea.

Chapman is ok , amazing when you are ahead in the count, but soon as you are behind and are force to the fastball .... you in trouble. Wagner is amazing all around , mostly because of better control.
Chapman control issues puts you behind in the count too much imo

97 or LS? LS has 65 ctrl on all his pitches hes asking to hang stuff
-
I cant control him for the most part. I've walked a few people and I'm never sure where his pitches will go. I'm considering selling him for Britton myself.
-
He's... fine, I just had to adjust my expectation from "closer" to "late inning guy". He'll get 1-2 necessary outs, put 1-2 guys on, burn up stamina ultra fast, and get lifted against a tough righty.

Or is it just me? I can’t hit him to save my life but he’s hands down my shakiest bullpen arm. Just picked up Britton to see if he’s any better
Lmao. I spent 90k on him the other day. Second highest card I bought this year. First two games he gives up walk off homers. Sold his [censored] and bought his LS where his fastball still goes to 102 and only cost 5k

He's my best reliever and it's not even close.
130.2 innings, 190 strikeouts, 2.41 ERA, 0.76 WHIP. -
I think it's common that people who use a very expensive and rare card, like 99 Wagner, might have set the expectations too high. He is still Billy Wagner like every single year, this year he's just rare and therefore costs a fortune. That doesn't guarantee dominance in the slightest.

He’s great lefty lefty, but his control is just awful. And I rarely use the fastball because I know everyone is sitting on it.
I’m gonna also take this time to plug Jake McGee, that card is nasty. Hands down my go-to high leverages guy

10ip. 10 era for me with SS Chapman. I suck with Rivera too. 85 isringhausen? Lights out.

after 100 IP ONLINE (mostly AS setting) with the live series, his era was 0.50'ish
