Once again, I’m surprised to see Luis Robert gets a gold card while Kyle Lewis is barely silver? His fielding is still 58 with a 56 arm, 46 act and 60 reaction? Clearly nobody watches Seattle play.

If anything, the three year average thing should make it more in favor of Kyle Lewis, who had 71 at-bats last year good for an .885 OPS.
If Lewis was on a contender, he'd probably be gold.

I mean, I guess it matters little. LS cards don’t make anyone’s lineup. At least Kyle Seager finally got rewarded with a gold card.

I’ve been saying the same thing. The disparity between Robert and Lewis is absurd. Granted Lewis has been in a slump the past week and has BA has dropped 30 points in that time but it’s still 50 points higher than Robert’s.
I assume Lewis is getting a POTM, which I will use in my all Mariners lineup, but that still doesnt excuse the negligence towards his LS card.

I realize you also said online ranked, but my comment was specifically about DD. I probably should have clarified that a bit in my 1st comment, but that's what I was referencing. LS don't factor into DD at this stage except for BR

I think it would be fun to see Robert go for a 40 HR/40 SB season some day in the future with a full schedule of games.

I've just always loved runs at 40/40, and there are so few players these days who get close. I don't know much about Kyle Lewis' baserunning tendencies, but I'm really thinking about selecting a Mariners game to watch so I can see him play finally.
Lewis is a fun player to watch, and he is criminally underrated defensively on the game right now. But he shredded his knee in the minors which delayed his rise to big leagues so his base running days are largely behind him.

He still covers a lot of ground out in center. He has another bomb to CF tonight and combined on a relay with JP Crawford to throw the tying run out at the plate.
His defence really needs an upgrade.
