anyone else have a controller bug?. My of'ers are diving at balls as soon as ball is hit. this has cost 2 games and i know people say too much pressure on the sticks but i am quite 'gentle' with my thumbs lol so obviously it's a bug related to both my controller and the game.

anyone else know if there is a fix? maybe in the settings? it completely ruins my games because i just end up losing my focus at the plate trying to not rage quit but [censored] sakes this [censored] is annoying.

I just played a game where I circled around the ball to make a quicker harder throw home and my outfielder teleported into the middle of the outfield and the ball one hopped it to the wall... Had a few issues with infielders not throwing too...

Your controller is in bad condition then, happened to my old one but hasn’t happened to my new one yet and I’ve had it for 3 months

It’s not just y’all I’ve had some issues with the infielders not throwing the ball or going to where a pop up is. Also bought a brand new controller thinking that might be the issue. Nope still the same thing

Well, I had a problem with my first-generation Dualshock 4 controller that came with the PS4 at launch.

Worked great for years, but after dropping it one too many times (I'd set it on the table next to me, but the cord wasn't long enough and would pull the controller off and onto the floor) it broke the L2 button. The trigger seems to be partially pushed in and it's stuck that way.

It didn't cause any terrible issues with MLB The Show, it mostly rewinded replays without any user input. But it made Dishonored 2 unplayable as L2 was the quick-load button.

I had to get a new controller because of the L2 problem. Just DON'T get a used controller, those have stick drift. Get one that is brand new.

This is usually caused by an issue with the R2/L2 button reading as engaged. The problem becomes exacerbated if you have your controller plugged directly in while you’re playing. Either only play unplugged on a charge or get yourself a new controller.

Make sure your R2 is not being pressed accidentally or isn't engaged. The slightest pressure will cause this to happen.
