I just went 12-0 in BR for the first time ever and pulled the 99 Billy Wagner. I still haven’t gotten 99 Mickey Mantle either. Do you guys think I should sell Wagner for 900k after tax and finish the Mantle collection or should I hang on to him?

I’d sell. Mickey is great for 9 innings every game. Wagner is (presumably) great for 1-2 innings every other game.

Plus, biggio and Sheffield are very good as well.

    Sell.

You can buy a great bullpen for that price after completing Mantle. Plus you'll get some stubs back anyway along with Xp

Just wait till a few days after the stub sale to complete the Mantle collection.

If you can make stubs fairly easily and aren't too far away from Mantle I can understand keeping him. Otherwise, it would be an easy decision for me, sell. Like was mentioned, along with Mantle you'll get a few other great cards that can play every inning of every game unlike a closer can.

If I sell, I’ll be sitting on about 1.5 million stubs. I haven’t even tried for mantle so I have maybe 3 or 4 of the cheap LS diamonds. Do you think I’ll have enough to get Mantle?

I'd have to do the math to be sure but I would assume that 1.5 million in stubs would be more than enough. I know there is a website out there that lists the cost of the various collections but I can't remember what it is. Someone else on here might chime in who knows, but just add up the price of all the diamonds and that should give you a pretty good idea. My guess though, is you would have plenty to get it done if you sold Wagner. By the way, you'll get a pretty good Wagner card that I still use as a closer in my pen along the way to Mantle.

You will get the 94 Wagner for completing Mantle as well. I'd go for it. Congrats on the 12-0!

If you can sell a single card for close to a million stubs, you should always do it.

900K for a reliever, you sell that 10 times out of 10, plenty of arms to make up for the skill loss

Should I put in buy orders? Or should I just say [censored] it and just buy now when the stub sale ends?

I bought Wagner for 1m. But I also have Mantle, if I had to chose one, I'd sell Wagner for Mantle in a heartbeat.

Definitely buy orders. Will save you hundreds of thousands of stubs. Doesn’t take too long either usually.

Buy orders and now isn’t a bad time with the LS diamonds pack they dropped. They are fairly cheap

If you're good enough to go 12-0, you should be able to make WS each season.

Do you not play ranked seasons? If not, start and you'll also get excellent cards to play or sell.

Dude, keep Wagner, you get tons of opportunities to make stubs, pull cards etc just by playing.

Also, there's a lot of free 99's you can get.

You should be able to have this lineup...if you're 100 prestige in some instances.

    OF 99 Trout
    OF 99 Walker
    OF 99 Harper/Musial/Springer/Dawson/Gwynn/Kaline
    C 96 Wieters/99 Posey/96 Posada
    1B 99 Ruth/Oritiz/Bagwell/Thome/Thomas/Thames
    2B 99 Sandberg/Robinson 97 Cano
    SS 99 Rollins/Larkin 98 Bo 97 Ripken 96 Story
    3B 99 Brett/Killebrew/Schmidt/Ramierz
