[Iowa's] Field of Dreams would’ve been cool had the Yankees and Sox been able to play there this year
Field of Dreams is a Universal/Comcast property. Will never happen ever.
Ditto ...
The Sandlot
Madison Cube Garden
Band of Brothers ballfield
Durham Athletic Park
Buttermaker Bears Field
Metropolis ParkThe property is owned by a family that lives there not Universal/Comcast. It’s open for tours year round and MLB was set to play a game on it this season until COVID hit.

I’m 40 years old. From the age of 6 to the age of 19, I went to nearly 200 Tiger games at Tiger Stadium.
I miss that ball park like you miss women you loved at one point.
The fact they tore it down sucks to this day. I miss that park. Would love to at least revisit it in this game. Whatever rights SDS would need to make that park a reality in this game, is a possibility for sure.
Tiger Stadium would be so great.
Agree! It should have been preserved and restored where restoration was needed. Letting it decay and then tearing it down was disrespectful to the history of it, such a waste!

Who owns the actual dirt is irrelevant. Universal/Comcast owns the intellectual property and, more importantly, the licensing rights.
You can't put a "Iowa Cornfield Ballpark" in your video game unless you ...
A. Cut the Comcast folks in Philly a fat, giant check.
B. generic it down so much that there's no point. -

Iowa.
I actually went to a softball game there with a bunch of hall of famers (Bench, Yount, Boggs, and I can’t remember who else) a few years back. It was fun.
Ehh you know what I meant lol. And that’s awesome

B. generic it down so much that there's no point. We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. The own the very specific rights to the movie and it’s characters, not the locations where it was filmed and not to all baseball fields in cornfields in Iowa. So the game could very easily do your example if they wanted to.

I just want a super basic type park. Chain link fence in the OF and a couple of bleachers. No lag. No large distracting signage. Pitcher park dimensions. Maybe a parking lot in the background so I can aim for specific windshields.

Stade olympique de Montréal
Let's see that wonderful, still standing, facility in Montreal please. The Jays play a couple exhibition games there every year anyways.

It's still standing.
It's a facility.
It's in Montreal. The rest... not so much.

The 'crowd' wouldn't cause too much lag though.

Fair enough lol
-
It would be nice to see some non laggy mlb stadiums as well. That would be new
-
I'd take Fulton County Stadium, the "launching pad" as it was called. Main reason is the Braves clinched the 95 Series there. I remember watching, wondering if that 1 run would hold. Glavine and Wohlers made sure it did. And of course David Justice was my favorite player growing up, so that solo shot was epic.
-
they are not going to waste the time, effort, or money into creating new stadiums for this game...the only time we will see new stadiums is on the next gen games when they finally allow a create a stadium feature
-
I say focus on fixing gameplay before stadiums

No one needs their players blowing out their knees.

Some more classics. War Memorial in Buffalo, Doubleday in Cooperstown, some real minor league parks would be cool too.
Doubleday would be outstanding. With a cut scene of Main St. Cooperstown before the game starts.
-
Sandy Koufax’s LA Coliseum

That's about as small town sandlot as it gets. I mentioned it somewhere prior but I think, especially with the ps5 capability, we could have a design you're own park feature for you're home squad for online play.
I'd also like to see old Fenway.
