I was inspired a month or two ago by someone who said they had finally purchased/earned all of the cards available on the market. I was pretty far off at the time and didn’t think it was realistic for me to pursue, but I was bored recently and decided to start flipping again to close the gap. I’m down to the final 10 and was curious who people thought I should target first. I’m skipping out on 2020, so I’ll still be playing this game on and off a bit for the next year. I’ll have time to eventually try all these guys out.

Here is who I have left (all signature series):
    Michael Young
    Rod Carew
    Felix Hernandez
    Bruce Sutter
    Minnie Minoso
    Willie McCovey
    Ty Cobb
    Reggie Jackson
    Craig Kimbrel
    Chris Sale

I’m thinking I should get Ty Cobb first, but I don’t have a strong opinion about anyone after that.

I am also skipping out on 20. I am thinking of doing the live collections for Mays and Hornsby to see if they have the glitch swings for me that they have against me. I still have a long way to go to get this done. Working on selling Scherzer and thinking of selling Ty Cobb which would get me much closer.

I have had Cobb for quite some time and he is hitting like .360 for me. Only real downside is no arm which is why he is in left for me.

On this list after Cobb, I would probably go for a Hernandez or Sale. Haven't seen anyone with those pitchers yet.

Of the cards above that I've used, Sutter and Sale were the best for me

    Congrats on the inspiration.

I'd echo Demise. Sale, Hernandez, & Gagne seen so rarely that they're more likely to be effective.

Is there still a ranked season going on? I haven't been on in a few days.
Get to WS to knock out Sutter, Kimbrel or Carew after Cobb (lol). Save some stubs.
Then grind BR for for the others.

    Problem solved!!

I was originally planning on playing ranked and BR to earn them, but at this stage in the game it’s just faster/easier to flip. I’m kind of in stamp collecting mode with just checking off boxes. Plus, I can flip while playing other games and I have a huge backlog I’d like to start working through. I’ve been itching to replay Bioshock since it was free on PS+. Last time I played it was about 10 years ago on PS3 with a tiny monitor sized 720p TV. I also got Frozen Wilds on sale a while back so I want to jump back into Horizon Zero Dawn.

I think I made 500-600k over the weekend by flipping about 20 cards over and over while watching some TV/movies. Even if I got lucky in a BR run, which I probably wouldn’t, it would take a lot longer to put together that many stubs.
