I think it's all about the monitor and just guessing right. I played a guy earlier who hit a 98MPH fastball 5 inches above the strike zone for a bomb. That's when I knew it was over for me.

I had an issue with high fastballs a couple of years ago so I decided to start my pci up and over the pitchers ball side shoulder. I found that I work down to the spot better than I do working up. After getting used to the change I had no issues getting to the low pitches as well.
This helped me too, even offline. I start it same spot all the way up. I figured out I can't raise the PCI up in time and swing on time to get to them, but it i can drop it like like a champ.

This, I started doing this in 17 when pitch speeds on HoF were legit blazing. Problem with doing this though is that you will swing under balls right down the middle of the plate a lot.

TBH for me I don’t see a difference between playing on a monitor vs tv. Almost all TVs today have low input lag and good enough refresh rate. Atleast for console gaming, since they are limited to 60fps.

How about a tv with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 6.5 ms?

I used to crush high and inside I years past. They def changed something. Anymore I try to not swing at anything over the belt.

What kinda monitor did you get, im researching to buy one now and wouldn't mind some suggestions
i got a samsung monitor from a friend.. not that good but got it cheap. will go after a 120hz monitor for next gen. so if you looking for a monitor it should have 120hz instead of 60hz
