Typically it's DD that gives me a priapism, now it's the thought of OFM
New video really makes me believe this is a version of OFM. I like how you can use current rosters or DD teams. My one concern is if lets say you have 8 guys in a league, it seems like you may only be able to play those 8 teams and not play a normal season against 22 teams that don't have a user.
Also curious if you can just take your DD team and now use them in this custom league mode by yourself. I have always wanted to play a "seasons game mode" not against users but using my DD team as a warm up for RS.
I think that's an option rather than a requirement but idk yet. Looking forward to Thursday.

Glad some sort of Online franchise is back, but if you noticed it states start custom league with live 40 man roster which means that their will be no Full Minor League rosters in online franchise this year, which is kinda of a bummer but glad we got Online franchise back

Looks great. OF never needed much work other than people destroying rosters and the inability to resign the players released. It could actually be even better now with the option for “Live series” or “DD”. Hopefully it still has loadable rosters for historic teams and a fantasy draft. DD fantasy draft would be the dream but either way I can’t wait to play a season with trades, injuries, playoffs and everything else involved in real baseball.

I'd be leery to call it Online Franchise quite yet. I have a feeling that it will lack all of the aspects I personally associate with a franchise mode (multiple seasons, player development, trades, etc)
