... that Jon Edwards still has Chief Wahoo on his hat will SDS change it?
I forgot about all the Native American outrage at Chief Wahoo that caused the logo to change. Literally nobody except people who are offended by literally everything cares about the logo. Honestly.

I'm okay with those edits. I just really, really wish they would put something on the helmets in their place. It made Choo look like a soft toss beer leaguer

No absolutely, I get that. Just curious to hear the opinion of a Tribe fan on the Chief's image and how it's become an important topic to many.
I personally found that logo original and non offensive.

Should have photoshopped the C for sure.

I feel like im one of few natives in here lol and I'm kinda tired of seeing these posts. I dont care about it much. My elders are the mad ones. I like baseball too much. Theyd probably tell me i need to be true to my culture and be offended but hey id rather not talk about it because as a native i found out my opinion means zero.... To anyone.

As a die-hard tribe fan myself, I'm definitely not offended by it. I also am not irrationally attached to it like some are. As far as logos go, I hate the block C and would much rather the cursive "I" of the mid 2000's although I wasn't big on it back in the day either. As far as name goes, I wouldn't mind if it gets changed either.
I care more about the actual team/players itself. This is an annoying distraction every single year. Especially after 2016 due to the national coverage of that playoff run.

Definitely an interesting point of view. They have so much history with that name and logo. I was never aware some found it offensive especially Native Americans like @Potawatomi_Kid mentioned above. Stuff like that was never made public.

Its the older generation. My grandparents on both sides of my family are very traditional and dont have social media or anything so it makes sense you woudlnt hear from them. Lol they still live in a different world my grandma was alive when natives first got the right to vote in 1957. Yea only 60 years ago. She has much hate for things i couldn't understand.

I'm half Native American and the reason the logo offends me is because Chief Wahoo's teeth are too white and too straight. You can't trust a chief with teeth like that.
honestly a lot of first nations up here in Canada wear Indians hats and Redskins hats it's not a big deal. It's mostly just nerdy SJW's trying to fight for something easy and trivial.
The First Nations have bigger issues than logos and team baseball names...

I'm more offended that Sandy Leon is wearing a Nationals uni and hasn't played for them since 2014.

It's always been hit or miss.

Honest question since you are an Indians fan.Nope, not at all. Just find it odd that they'll photoshop wahoo out of the Lofton, Murray, Choo, etc cards but leave it on the other.
