So I’ve been playing the show for years and years, and I’ve always wanted to switch over to pure analog pitching since it’s the go-to for most legitimate players. (I still do better with meter). My hesitation with making the switch for good is: Can you max out your pitches using analog like you can using meter? If so, how? I’m sick of only being able to throw 93mph sinkers with Kluber, when I know he’s capable of throwing it 95. Thanks.

They should put 2 yellow bars in analogue pitching to control speed.

How fast you move the stick doesn’t matter...Speed is random

Most realistic way to play the game is with Classic pitching and Analog Stride hitting at maxed out pitch speeds, PCI hitting is for beginners and scrubs.

If only SDS would implement a 60 game schedule and remove fans from the stadium then I'd play for sure but without playing Franchise in a simi realistic way to mimic RL the game seems fake. And no way in hell I'd play some online casual in multiplayer stuff, those people don't even know baseball.

Yeah, i can tell when i am playing a meter player, because they get max speed on nearly every pitch, i am on analog and i rarely get max velocity. I try pushing up faster, it works sometimes, but not often and certainly not every time. It is the only thing i hate about analog.

I did get a laugh out of a guy i played who did max speed on every pitch, including Fingers Fork Ball, which is more effective by being thrown slower, faster actually made it easier to hit.

Sounds like something a casual n00b would do. Typical.

How dare you accuse me of being a casual noob, I've never played DD game before so how could you say that? 🙂
