So I just won on a walk off grand slam and that did nothing to assuage the frustration I felt playing the game. It was brutal. I was late on everything. I swear to you I would watch my pci go to where the ball was but the feedback showed the pci being well short of where I placed it. All my contact was weak-yada yada yada. Anywho, fast forward to my bottom of the 9th. My opponent had one run on five hits and I had one run on two hits. I had three straight lefties coming up so he puts in Billy Wagner. I load the bases on three so so hits and then finish it off with a so so homer by chipper. I don’t know. I know these posts are pointless, but games like this are so discouraging and afterwards I feel disappointed and maybe a little dirty. I’m going to go shower and hop back in to another game, which I’m positive will be a much more smooth and rewarding experience.

Yeah, I have a hard times understanding where the PCI is placed in relation to where it was when I pressed the swing button.

I’ve questioned this as well in the past week. It feels like I’m having good PCI placement but the feedback shows different. Makes me wonder if there’s a lag at the end of the pitch.

Yeah, I think that’s what it is. And that’s what makes it so frustrating. This game requires such precision with pci and timing windows and yet something beyond your control has an enormous impact on your performance.

There is a penalty assessed to the PCI if you have poor timing. If you are late it drops the PCI and early raises it. The worse the timing the worse the penalty.

The feedback shows where the ball was when you made contact with it. It's kind of confusing since hitting views don't offer much depth perception.

I understand about being early/late with the PCI placement. Makes sense. But for me, I’ve noticed it more with sliders & sinkers on good timing. I use high strike zone view. The feedback shows a different spot than what I saw when I swung. Doesn’t happen a lot, just a couple times per game.
