Trout Collection Reward

Honus was EXTREMELY difficult to get when first released.
For example, you had to collect 15 Postseason cards, but only 18 cards had been released at the time.
Also, you had to collect 80(!) All-Star cards and 60(!!!) Signature Series cards.Eventually as cards continued being released, it got easier. But at launch, it was daunting.

Dumb question but are there rewards along the way? I have the HRD set, so if I lock them in do you get stubs/packs on the way to Trout?

Not that it was hard but it took longer than an hour to get it most did not have it with in the first month
We also didn’t have time to prepare and when the cat was out of the bag everyone wanted him bad. Prices for everything exploded and it took time for the dust to settle. This was almost the opposite as people been expecting this and stocking up, it’s a major letdown and prices are tanking.

What a letdown. Respinning SS Trout from last year this time with hoping to get more stubs sales. Trout is nasty with his LS already...I'll pass!

Got him and made 1.4 mil in the process of collecting and selling the extra cards.

Biggest disappointment in the history of the show! Awful. He has a live series card! With quirks! His live series with inside edge probably plays better then this 99 mvp card lol

I'm a little confused about the Live Series high diamonds spiking. People shifting focus back to Mantle?

I just saw a tweet from Barry Bonds saying that he’s disappointed and plans to be the collection reward next year.

This card blows the live series card out of the water hands down. I understand why people think it's a let down because of honus last year but this card is super easy to get and if you prepared for it you actually unlock it and make a ton of stubs. There are cards I bought for $8,000 now going for 40,000

I can buy any cards that I want of course. I already completed the live series so I already have a Trout, so now I don’t have to fish for another one that’s only slightly bigger

Do you need full collections of the 15 or a certain amount of cards from each collection?
