The cards released monthly in packs that were earned from competing a weekly set of moments. In August and September the would give out 1 card a week as part of the moments set.
This year it sound like they may release weekly based on a tweet that was sent out during the Nats, Yankees game

He rested Bogaerts game 2 there too then put him in half way through the game... and said he'll be resting stars regularly during the 60 game season.
