Wow was just reading marlins are up to 14 cases between players and staff. Played in Atlanta Wednesday then philly for the weekend now they are in Baltimore. Yankees are in philly now using same facility as marlins just got done with. Thats 5 teams affected by 1 outbreak. Crazy how fast this happens. I was really enjoying having sports again too. Hopefully the bubbles in other sports hold up.

Talk of Yankees-Phillies being canceled too. I'm guessing the season will be canceled within the week and as much as I love baseball its probably the right call

Marlins were supposed to go home, but they've been kept back in Philly.

NJ public schools lost over $300 million in state funding, yet as of right now many districts are planning on having teachers and students head back into the classroom 4-5 days a week with modified schedules. They're also planning on playing fall sports, including football.
I'm sure they'll be able to manage outbreaks better than a professional sports league like the MLB. /s
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure we're going to see a huge spike by the end of September.

If it only too one week for the MLB to have a major outbreak, I have to believe it won't take until the end of September.
Making schools open for face to face instruction in the middle of a spike in cases is about as smart as tossing gasoline on a fire. Makes 0 sense.

It'll finish, just won't play 60 games. Will they break double digit games? Doubtful

People are not taking it serious enough. I'm in the military and planning a pretty big training exercise for August, and we have encouraged them to cancel it due to COVID. At this point I'm just preparing mentally as I'll probably get it too.

Positive test doesn’t mean you have it. Lots of folks are desperately rooting for an event like this to happen, to scare folks back into their homes and become beholden to the almighty government.
