Post season you might as well change to 15 because 14 is such an awkward number choice. I’m guessing its going to be 20 for prime and awards and 15 signature. That way it is possible to get the collection done day 1 but you need all the sig cards. Anyone that doesn’t want to pay for the BR rewards would probably have to wait for more releases (I am guessing at least 4 more sig cards will be released in the next 2 weeks- 1 headliner, Maddux/Musial, and the BR reward)
Yah my only gripe is the awards, prime, and signature cards are either inning bosses, br rewards, or expensive headliners, last year signature series cards were plentiful and not as expensive as those series are now
It’s not intended to be a cheap collection.
I know, but I also don’t think they made you collect 100000 stub cards
So uncertain about the R/B/IV/AS sets so those might be good.
AW/SIG/PR sets will probably be 45-60 as I see them releasing a ton of those over the course of the year. -

Between the 3 collections, 45-60 is a good estimate. Theres no way they would make you collect 45 of each though -
I think people are pretty hopeful if they think SDS is just going to forget about FOTF and let people sell off 20-30 diamonds for hundreds of thousands of stubs and just finish the collection that way.

Yup!!! They've made showdowns easier, given you more chances to catch up...they might be part of it.
I have all the cards so I'd be happy.
-
Think the numbers might be a tad underestimating, especially with people preparing for it this year, they'll want to make it hard

This is my thought. They said you would want to catch on up the FOF series. I think that this is why. No way to know for sure, but just my two cents.

I think the prime, sig, and awards are a little low. Last year the Sig one you needed 60... we will probably be getting a handful more before it is released, but I would guess close to that 60 total between those 3. It’s what made it a hard collection.
The others look good, but postseason would probably round up to 15. No way on the prestige, and I also don’t think FS or FOTF cards will be included, or others in the collection screen, IMO.
I have a good feeling it may be 2 cards, and have stages too.
I hadn't thought about it till you mentioned it, but I fully agree with you on multiple stages and collection rewards. I could honestly see it being 3 players. I also agree that the requirements will be higher than the OP's estimate. I could see card #1 being obtainable upon release of the content, stage #2 being collectible maybe at release, or potentially early August and then the final card not being obtainable until end of August when they've released more cards from each series.

I was one of the first people on Show Nation that had Honus last year. And I think from stuff I already had collected it was like 1.5 million more stubs. So basically like another Mantle chase.
Whatever is coming, is going to be stupid expensive for awhile.
Side note: Honus was nothing special last year. He was just a flex. I hit better with this year’s Ernie Banks than I ever did with Honus last year.
If the reward is underwhelming, I don’t care to pursue it this year.
-
I expect some will get their hair blown back a bit, it’s not intended to be easy and it’s going to cost those who want to be first to the party.
As mentioned above, the FOTF cards and FS will probably require several collected. -
Think it’s going to be Babe Ruth this year. And if he doesn’t have 1B as a secondary, who gives a ****. Only way this grind will be worth it, is if it is a new legend and a really big name.

You don’t care to pursue it, but probably will regardless. The addiction is real! Lmao

Theres no way they would make you collect 45 of each thoughThere are 27/15/26 now, 2 new BR coming and 4-5 months of more BR so another 5-8on top of the 2 coming,,6new seasons will add 6-12 more cards plus 5th inning, 4 innings if they go 10 6 more if they go 11,6 cards each so another 24-30 from innings, and another 30 from TA,that's 67-92 cards just there and that doesn't count duck packs or headliners, sig teams, moment or showdown extreme, or any other surprised,. Oh and I forgot finest...
all new cards will be higher ovr so the sig/AW/prime fits those over, besides 45-60 was a low ball estimate, last year a couple collection were 80

They did if you wanted Honus in the first month available! It wasn’t until they started having Signiture cards as all 3 henchman, after Honus, that in became reasonable. Then signature team moments and rewards also came a month after his release.
this type of release and collections isnt meant to be collected day 1 anyway. this is another grind within the grind.
this is something you work towards over a period of time. idiots who get him day one swiping the credit card for clout or content is something totally different.

Yup, getting it done, whatever it will be, by October is my goal! A lot of good cards right now to have fun with! Paying for stubs would take any enjoyment out of this game for me.

I think it is going to be Jeter. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago that there is some bat or bat
skin in the game with Jeter's autograph on it. Also HOF weekend would have been right around the date the collection comes out with Jeter's induction. Larry Walker is in his induction class and is in the game now. I also remember in the launch twitch stream way back they mentioned a big surprise coming. The other sexy names it could be are Roberto Clemente or Joe D. I see that Chase 56 sign in Colorado when I play there. -

Here's my copy paste estimate for this
Postseason: 22 possible cards, estimate: 30
Rookie: 34 possible, Estimate: 40
Breakout: 34 possible, Estimate: 40
All star: 38 possible, Estimate: 40
Veteran: 33 possible, Estimate: 35
Prime: 27 possible, Estimate: 40
Signature: 15 possible, Estimate: 25
Awards: 26 possible, Estimate 40
I don't think the new Honus player will even be obtainable until mid September.

Like I said 45-60 between the 3 sets is reasonable. You had 2 collect 60 Sig cards last year out of roughly 120-140. You aren’t going to need 60 awards, 60 prime, and 60 sig cards. The only collection you needed 80 for last year was all stars and there are only 38 so far this year. You aren’t going to need that many of Rookie, breakouts, veteran, or allstar because there are less than 40 in each set currently and I honestly can’t see them releasing more than 10 total of those series the rest of the year. You all are making it out to be that you need every card in the game when you aren’t going to need that many more stubs than the live series collection a month ago. Anyone that already has been preparing won’t have to pay more than like 500-600k more stubs if you ask me
Also any set that isn’t currently in the game will not be included(finest) -
