Yeah this game is really bad. Madden has no competition between the show and 2k and that’s says a lot considering how bad Madden has been. The show needs to elevate their game to even be in the same ballpark as Madden MUT.
I've seen several posts like this in these forums and have zero idea why they are made.
I am better at MUT/Madden than The Show as I've been a top 25 weekend league performer, had the #1 solo battle score one week and was a weekly top 10 finisher, and even beat some of the guys who are big youtube guys or comp gamers.
Madden is absolute garbage. Like the MUT design is horrible. Weekend league is terrible. The solos in Madden are the most mind numbing garbage there is and it's a constant rat race for the next good card.
Maybe that's your thing. I just don't get the praise for MUT.

what a dumpster fire of a a game. Getting perfect release with a guy that has 89 control and it goes down the middle

Same here! I was debating on getting an x-box but wanted to try the show. I played it a bit in 2016. It had bad reviews in 2018 but I tried it last year and loved it. Now it is my favorite game even with some gameplay issues

Honestly if they'd just fix check swings and the frequency of hanging pitches I wouldn't have any issues with this year's game in it's current state. Check swings, I'm seeing 2-3 per at-bat and these are always very early/very late swings. It's the biggest reason I'm so bored with the game cause it's always who can check swing the most and get a FB.

This game is way better than 17. Be late, be great. Horrible base running exploits. Freeze offs were wayyyy more frequent. You could score from 2nd on a groundout fairly regularly.

you and me both! This game is pretty much the only game I play. My kids play a few other games but they don't play often and ill take a few months off from the show for 2k. Although my time playing 2k gets shorter and shorter the worse 2k gets and the more I enjoy the show.

I honestly applaud anyone who plays ranked on a consistent basis. I play it often, but not nearly as much as in years past. Its terrible

What's strange is occasionally I have games that feel perfectly balanced. Others the deck is stacked for or against me.
The gameplay is a mess, everyone knows this. I've just accepted that it's not that serious and enjoy the moments of fun.

I think one problem is people using different settings not hitting view pitchers view but a lot of other things that's when you see the majority of dumb things happening. That and of course all star but when I get a good connection and no noticeable different setyings are used on HoF the game is enjoyable it's just this rarity of this all coming together is like 1 in 100.
