For the past couple of years I have had very different results vs my 2 different setups....and I am not sure why.

    Setup 1: Los Angeles, California:

Hard Wired network connection about 400mbps.
27 inch 4k ASUS gaming monitor.
I have been around 80-40 in online games (events, BR, RS) with around a 2.40 average.
Best BR/Event streak was about 7 games.
It is always very difficult to catch up to high fastballs or react quick enough to the breaking stuff most of the time.

    Setup 2: Atlanta, GA:

    Wireless connection around 40 mbps..
24 inch 1080p ASUS gaming monitor.
I have been around 100-20 in online BR/Events/RS games with over a. 320 average.
My best streak was 11 games in events and went around 19-2 in a previous Event run. My best BR run was 12-1 with 11 straight wins.
In this setting, I usually crush high fastballs and am even usually too early....It seems like I can wait a bit longer on a pitch, and react to breaking stuff better.

So, there is no doubt that my ATL online gaming experience is substantially better, over a 2 year sample size.

My possible guess why includes either the monitor or geographic location? The competition seems similar, I think, but I do so much better in ATL. The ATL network connection is not quite as good as the LA one, so that is weird.
So I am thinking that the bigger 4k monitor is worse for online RS somehow? (I keep that setting on fastest mode, not the high graphic 4k setting, so that cannot be it).
Both monitors are basically using the exact same game mode settings.

Does anyone have an idea why my ATL online experience is better? Could the 24" monitor be that better for online gaming over the 27"? It's a noticeable difference, and it seems to me that my LA setup would be better, but it's not.

Lag compensation / poor network coding.

So what suggestion do you recommend? Change network channel or something?

Unfortunately I don't have a solution. @D_E_m_I_s_E would be an interesting debate partner regarding this topic, but I haven't seen him around in a while. He claims his mobile hotspot plays better than his wired fiber connection.

Did you play 19 and 20 at both sites? Because 20 seems like pitch speeds are faster with smaller timing windows.

Without knowing enough about the technology difference between the monitors (TN vs. IPS, response time, input lag, etc.) that could play a role here, as well.

Is your family at one place and the other is like an out of town place for work. You may have more going on around you at one place

Agreed. Since we're comparing two different gaming monitors it could very well be at least part of the reason. Try looking up both models on this site, this is where I went before I got my modest TCL TV:

    https://www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/input-lag

Also are you running the same PS4 Pro? It could be a frame rate difference between it processing at 4K and 1080P maybe?

Good points...Yes the Cali setup is ps4 pro vs the reg ps4 in ATL.
Also, they are both ASUS TN panels but the Cali one is 4k 27" vs the ASUS 1080p 24" in ATL.

I think the input lag and response time may be a bit higher on the 4k so maybe that is the reason for the worse performance?...but I had no idea it would be that noticeable.
...and maybe the ps4 pro that I use in LA is affecting things negatively.?...as I have read a few comments about that a while back, but did not put too much stock into it.
