I didn't get matched up against any players with team names that said 'give me ... and i'll quit' for the first 2 stages of this event. Now, I've had a few in the past 2 days but they always quit after I gave them what they wanted. Nice, free wins for some ok rewards

I wish i had the time to get to 200 wins, 100 and 200 were only ones i wanted. But only at 130. And have my daughter this week, so not able to play as much. So in just Prestige playing.

I’ve spent most of my online play in events and I can confidently say there has not been much disservice to with the liars. Sometimes I’ll just ignore their messages or names and play, some will quit some will stay and play it. Thankfully I haven’t been burned much if at all cuz of these situations and it’s worked in my favor a lot as well either working on stats/challenges in return or just a free W to keep racking up.

Yes I know, I don’t have to do it, but if you do help them out then they should really keep their end up.
Not only that but then also holding R2 for every pitch afterwards.
Just the worst!!!
I had a run in with this the other day. I told him let me get up 5 and keep the lead id do it. He held up his end of the deal. He was also grinding innings for Rivera.

I haven't put in a lot of time and when i play the event i'm usually watching something else on my pc at the same time (not too great with quick counts). So i'm like 34-20 atm

Not a fan of the quick count either. I hate having to be ready to swing at the 1st pitch i see.

I was 11-0 and I’m really grinding the event out for wins, so when I saw it I took the bait like an idiot. Still won the next game after though.

Message 'em and tell em they have to give you the lead first.

Simple logic says....let me score so and so runs first...then you do them the solid....and if they dont then they wasnt going to quit to begin with. But isnt the whole deal earning the prestige and not be given it freely. Isnt that the bragging rights, the grand slam walkoff.....

Not as bad as 17 because you didn't need to get stats online but yeah, the immortal grind and the stepping stones had insane stat requirements and rather than grind them out vs. cpu, some people insisted on doing them h2h

I did it once and it was so boring. Unless I'm on the cusp of the next level and really need that W I'm not doing it again. Something about bunting every other at bat that takes all the fun out of it.
