I'd 2nd this. I didn't know I could buy the guys on the market. Glad to know I don't have to grind for everything since I don't have the time to do it.

I haven't had chance to play yet but I guessed right on the market and unloaded mostly everything now I'm sitting on 700k stubs and can have my pick at what ever I want.
So for not playing in game I have had a tone of fun so far
Side note the forum has been awesome today alot of good conversation and debate but very little negativity which was pretty awesome so thanks to everyone on here

I got to see two commas in my stub balance for the first time ever and I pulled Trout so I’m very much happy with today as well

Yeah they threw us all a curveball and changed the rules mid-game. Would have been nice to have known ahead of time before a lot of us wasted a lot of time buying silvers and golds for exchanges.

I think SDS did a good job. Don't think we didn't notice those half off packs are obviously nerfed. But hey its not an instant loss of 1.5 k for every pack, so there is that.

I've pulled deGrom and Mad Max from single packs, so I'm thrilled.
I've added Smoltz, Orel, Henke, Bagwell and Dawson, sitting on 90k after selling deGrom. Trying to decide between Davis or Killebrew, don't know which to add.

I just finished the Yankees and sold Mattingly. It's a good card but I can get it cheaper later if I want. My goal is Mantle, so the stubs were a little more important.

I have an entirely new rotation (Smoltz, Hershiser, Palmer, Burnett, Leiter), Thome at 1st, the new McGriff off the bench, Henke at the back end of my pen, about to get Schmidt, and 20 stars from getting Walker...
What a day...
From selling what I replaced (Hamels, Saberhagen, etc.) I barely spent any stubs exchanging (had those teams all at 100% going in) and I even pulled Verlander out of the affinity packs.I've only been online for 2 hours tonight lol

One of the better days for sure. I remember one during 17 that was really good but this is better, still can’t believe people want to downplay the cards. Finest cards for the first time was pretty sweet as well but this is when it’s till enjoyable to get new cards that improve your team not just add more 99s
My only gripe would be they should have added more gold/silver flashbacks and legends through the first few. Even choice packs would a bunch to choose from for theme teams.

The market crash really put a bad taste in my mouth to start the day because i had so much invested. Took it in stride said eff it and started doing exchanges myself, very First affinity pack i open.. Trouty. First time in 3 years. Yea i hate me too.

Idk why so many are angry about them on the marketplace. You can still make stubs if you don’t want a player and those who can’t dedicate as much time can acquire a player they really like.

Wow some of those TA3 cards look nice. I only have NYY, Cle, Min, Stl done to 100% and just a few others done through the first TA1 card 55-60%. But I am hyped for some of the cards available on the ones I can get pretty quick. Killebrew, Thome, Matingly and Brock. And not too far away from Bagwell, Young, and Smoltz. Pretty exciting stuff.

Welcome to gambling. Sorry you lost stubs, I didn't bother to gamble, thus I came out ahead.
I didn't lose my stubs, I actually made over 40% profit and 100K when I sold my silvers and golds back last night. And today I'm buying the Don Mattingly card I wanted for around 15K. Overall I'm very happy with Tuesday's game update, I just think it would have been nice if SDS had given people a heads up that you could buy and sell team affinity bosses right off the bat.
