Took me forever. Of course they had to put it on rookie to make it harder. Unrealistic pitch speeds and a limited range on the PCI made me have to take like 40 min to do this one. All the others one try.

I agree. I cannot time pitches well on Rookie.

I am cursed. I finally got home runs on the first two ABs.
Third AB? Hit by pitch.
Fourth AB? 3-0 count, forced to swing at horrible pitch and pop out. -

I agree. I cannot time pitches well on Rookie.
And pitches anywhere on the edge of the strike zone come off the bat like a wet noodle. So much easier to do these hitting moments on All Star.

Took a little longer than the rest, but eventually did it. No real secret, just get your pitches and any contact will result in a HR.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles with Rookie hitting on moments. I'll put every single ball in play but not where I want them.

Maybe your squad will even tee off on the pitcher or push it to extras for ya, I [censored] love when that happens. Though I [censored] hate when it does happen and I still can't get it LOL

Power swing and hit 3 dongs. The outfield is too fast so gappers get run down every time. If the pitcher doesn’t groove one in 1st at bat they never will, just restart and find a better instance.

If having issues, he has a huge shift. If you can hit it to right field (swing late) its a double just about everytime

I just did the one where you need two XBH against the Yankees on All Star level. Hit two homers on three pitches. First try. Now, back to the Rookie level one, for hour #2.

You’ve gotta sit on high pitches or perfectly middle knee pitches. I haven’t hit any pitches other than letters or knees. I completed all the moments for him but that’s where he hits them best -

Good tip. I've been using directional swing to upper cut to left. If the first at bat does not go my way I quit. Maybe I should just power swing, like you say.

Whoever designed the 3 XBH moment on the rookie setting was looking to have some fun at the user's expense. You pretty much have to hit three dingers to win the moment, and the first 2-3 at-bats are against a righty knuckleballer who pitches mostly junk way below the strike zone. It also seems like half the time you're hitting with a slow-footed pitcher on base in front of you, and most of the time you get just four at-bats. And I've never seen so many flyballs end up on the warning track as in this moment.
