I'm tired of seeing high speed/steal players get nonstop horrible jumps. I'm annoyed that whenever I try to manually time a steal the player ALWAYS WAITS until the ball leaves the pitchers hands to move, but if I try to go any earlier than first move the pitcher immediately steps off and i have to play 45 minute rundown to not be out. There's honestly zero reason why players have such little control over stealing bases

Stealing in this is game has become so hard because of the jumps. Have watched plenty of YT to try and be better. Pressing the buttons for a good jump mean nothing when a Kenny lofton or ellsburry decide to move their foot when the ball is already being thrown. Not to mention the full leg kick and off speed pitch that give more time to delay the jump. This stuff needs an improvement or some clarification on it

I don't know what's worse, the jumps or the CPU knowing when I'm stealing 80% of the time.

Usually on the money..Here is where a quick step off, Hold set a few extra moments, slide step etc etc comes into play and does matter. Not saying entirely. If we played and dropped a few down with Vizquel, check that actually even Chipper Jones ( U Choose card) and you'll say I'm cheesin..Na. Steal and play using R2 Hold and guessing ur release and flying. Only when I need a run.. Or get my leadoff on, I'm causing havoc.

It's random, it's been this way for several years now.. You can time the jump and the runner will just get stuck in mud on the takeoff and get thrown out ... If you get a SUPER early jump it doesn't do it as much, but you gotta time it just right, get the jump before the pitcher even starts his motion, so it's tough....

I’m stealing bases left and right in the event. Haven’t been thrown out yet (most with Griffey Sr-just added Ellsbury and Chisholm to the lineup so we shall see)

explain to the folks at home your high success steal rate. It USED to be that you could hold L2 and when you released your runner would go. But now there's a lot more randomness to that method, so 99 Steal rickey will often wait a full second for no real reason

Press L2 and release. Press (or spam, your choice) L1 as the pitcher moves. Right analog NE to slide into the back corner of the bag.

    Rinse. Repeat.
