I don’t get it either. I mean, I don’t always hit well left on left but Reggie seems pretty good at it.
I actually have a better batting average left on left than I do right on right which you see far more often. Probably because I’m a lefty myself irl.
Here’s the thing. If I get a perfect release on a pitch just out of the zone with a common lefty and my opponent gets a perfect swing on it with potm Bellinger, guess what is going to happen?
Line out to center most likely. Possibly good/okay 88mph flyout though.

Actually no I really could not care less if I won an event game. I use them to try out cards I don't want to risk my RS rank on. RS I'll try to win but events I enjoy because is nice to really not care.
I hear you on not caring about an event loss, I don't care about them either. What I'm saying is even if it's only an event, I'm still trying my best to defeat my opponent.
I've played over 70 games this event with Helton at first instead of POTM Thames and Duke in center instead of Prime Griffey to grind out prestige. And if the person I am plying allows one of my hits to drop in like they are helping me on the prestige grind then I immediately quit and give them the win. So no your statement that everyone does everything to win doesn't apply to a lot of people in events.
I appreciate free wins in this event when people are trying to Prestige players, I been screwed over once out of who knows how many between the last two events.

It's just different agendas. I can understand the people going in that struggle online hoping to hit HRs getting frustrated and can also understand taking the advantage of throwing a lefty going for wins. The only ones I really can't stand are the 2 hits and I quit team name people. Earn it.
Those do not bother me and I will take the free wins, It is a video game after all. These event do not mean much. I am trying to get all the rewards and if I get help someone out and get free wins. They get what they want and I get what I want. Earn it really. Most these guys can earn it but it just makes it a little easier.

Bellinger crushes lefty's as well... actually Bellinger crushes everything so never mind. Honestly though I like using Gorman against lefty's. I think it's Stargell's batting stance that benefits against lefty's though he has a great fast swing against them.

This event is sooooo stacked for hitting "MOON SHOTS" Its fine to bring in a common LH pitcher to face someone like Dietrich who doesn't it LH's nearly as well as RH's. A little strategy is fine. I don't think I would ever complain about facing a common pitcher on a regular basis no matter their throwing hand......
