I hit left on left pretty decently in this game so I don’t mind someone bringing in a common. I’m using players like Giambi, Didi, Bellinger, Daniel Murphy, your mom... all solid lefties.

Your a chump if you use left handed pitchers. It means you have no faith in your team to win. That’s the truth

What? Some of those common lefties are pretty good. I’d say if you’re worried about hitting left on left it means YOU have no faith in your team to win.

Sometimes this forum just cracks me up. “You’re a chump for adding lefties to your pen” - The Show Nation.

Nope I handle it well, but it’s funny that people have to try any advantage to win when it’s over powered left handed hitters . But hey the truth hurts people’s feelings

This thread is hilarious. You’re actually pissed off that I have Nestor Cortes Jr in my squad.

You’re actually chapped about me putting an event team together with eligible players.

This community really takes the cake sometimes.

I played a 81 prestige guy yesterday who started a lefty and brought In only lefties. So when Zach Collins hit a 3 run bomb in the 2nd I felt the need to replay that.

I use venters though. Especially against a free swinger. Easy 3 up 3 down

I thought I was BRILLIANT when I read the rules and figured out that common lefties were allowed. I filled my lineup with them and was promptly STOMPED.

But... I did read the rules, so please send me 5 "Ballin' is a Habit" packs please.

Yeah it's in the rules, I've tried it, got smacked around. And vice versa, I have smacked around some of this common lefties. This is entirely a non issue.

It’s more of a tell of the level of loser someone is that they care so much about an event win that they have to go against the spirit of the event at the expense of their opponent’s fun. If these event wins mean that much to you great, I’m just glad I have more in life to look forward to.

I think its more of a tell that you're upset at people for trying to get a competetivr advantage in a competetive game. If you want home run derby, play home run derby. If you dont want to compete dont play online. Personally i dont use lefties because I prefer the right handers i have but I ser no issue with anyone using lefties. If you are mad about hitting against common lefties wait until you play different modes and find out about guys like Blake Snell and Hal Newhouser.

I keep Granderson and Gallo on my bench for those situations. Duke and Jacoby are the only two on my lineup that are underpowered vs lefties so those two subs and I can face lefties all day.

I think it's more about being restricted to lefty bats. Unless you have some of the higher cards most lefties don't have any pop vs lefties. Not saying on AS vs lefties you should not be rocking commons but people just get a same side physiological block.

I find it comical that some people come on here with that "if you have to resort to that to win" and "it's only an event" BS.

Man screw that... If I'm playing you, I'm using whoever I'm allowed to use and IDGF if it's an event, RS or a friendly, I'm trying to beat you.

Y'all come on here with your who cares high and mighty [censored] but know very well in the heat of the game you do whatever to win.

Actually no I really could not care less if I won an event game. I use them to try out cards I don't want to risk my RS rank on. RS I'll try to win but events I enjoy because is nice to really not care.

I hear you on not caring about an event loss, I don't care about them either. What I'm saying is even if it's only an event, I'm still trying my best to defeat my opponent.

Some people play a baseball game to play baseball, not to gift stats. Events allow someone to use cards they would otherwise never use, plus they're quick games when there's no time for ranked and don't feel like paying the buy in for battle royale

I've played over 70 games this event with Helton at first instead of POTM Thames and Duke in center instead of Prime Griffey to grind out prestige. And if the person I am plying allows one of my hits to drop in like they are helping me on the prestige grind then I immediately quit and give them the win. So no your statement that everyone does everything to win doesn't apply to a lot of people in events.

It's just different agendas. I can understand the people going in that struggle online hoping to hit HRs getting frustrated and can also understand taking the advantage of throwing a lefty going for wins. The only ones I really can't stand are the 2 hits and I quit team name people. Earn it.

Just wait till you see common graterol in the next event. The only losers in the games are the guys tha finish with less points and the guys that call other people losers for following the rules and guidelines.

Wow, what a reaction to something that is well within the rules of the event!!! Kid get good and quichurbiching. If you can’t hit a common lefty you shouldn’t be playing this game. I think Pokémon would be more suitable for you.

Not sure why this is such a big deal? Maybe I don’t understand because I can actually hit a lefty with a lefty batter. I would welcome someone doing that to me.

I don’t get it either. I mean, I don’t always hit well left on left but Reggie seems pretty good at it.
