POTM Bellinger grind

I'm about 2 1/2 hours in and am just past the halfway mark towards Aguilar, so I'm also looking at about 5 hours. For a reference, I don't think April & May took me 5 hours combined. So this has easily been the most time consuming so far. However, the pitching has been beyond abysmal. I'd be surprised if 15-20% of the pitches I've seen so far have been strikes.
-
It’s def harder than Correa. I had Correa in like 2 hours.
-
Working on Zunino right now. I am not a good online player so the online stats have been the hardest for me. Got matched up with someone who was equally bad and didn't pitch Kluber/Hightower. Got him for 4 runs and 3 hits in the first. He quit 3 innings later before I could get anymore stats. Then got matched against Kluber 2 straight games. All in all it took me 21 online innings to get the 10 hits. Also took forever to hit a homer with Zunino in one of the moments. Getting the 35000 exchange is now what is holding me back from advancing because the prices are so high for the gold catchers. Hoping I can get to stage 2 tonight.
-
The only part I find "hard" about the POTM grinds this year is the pitcher ones. On All-Star, even with perfect release, you get center meatballs that get crushed and there goes that "don't give up 1 run" requirement.
Hitting moments are easy enough. I even like that there are not too many multi-game moments.
-
Definitely the hardest one yet. But I just finished and got Bellinger. Keep grinding fellas hes worth it!
-
The Zuzino moments weren't too bad... the three hit game with an XBH took a little while but the rest were a flash. Looking ahead the rest of the moments look pretty easy. The missions will just slow it all down. I might just play the computer on all star twice as I imagine that's quicker.

It’s really easy
Look. Occasionally, you’ll get a couple pitches down the pipe that will actually have a good result. In those cases, yes, it’s easy.
Unfortunately, most of the time, Charlie Morton seems to prefer going to a three ball count, then throws a dot, then ball four.
It’s not easy, dude. Even when you get good contact, there’s the good/ok to the track or the line drive into the shift.
It has nothing to do with easy.
Ive been doing the in game missions so they went really quick doing it that way with the exchange set.

Boy i can't hit Josh James. This is ridiculous.
Funny, I couldn't hit Jose Berrios worth a [censored] for like 12+ tries. Big spread between his 81 mph offspeed and mid-90s FBs.

So, swing on ball four so it becomes strike two. Foul dots off until you get a good pitch. If a walk doesn't help, don't take one.

Took me 2 event games to get the 10 hits with Mariners. Why go into Ranked when there’s an event going that guarantees you won’t face any pitcher higher than a bronze?
-
That's a good point and way faster than playing 2 games vs. the computer on All-Star. Thank you sir!

What do you guys think? Too hard? Too easy? How long does it take? Would you guys say that it is easier than the April and May POTM grinds? Are these cards better than the previous months? I started the Zunino moments today, but that is as far as I got.
I got it all done in about 2 hours total

The pitching moments took me the longest. Billy Hamilton ruined one for me hitting a homerun. But bellinger is worth it
Those pitching moments were a straight snooze fest.
-
LeMahieu was a pain, those power stats are deceptive. Felt like I was swing a strand of spaghetti most of the time. Somehow I finished with my controller intact

That’s not the point. As I pointed out in another post, Charlie Morton has a strike percentage of 63% over his entire career. It’s on veteran difficulty.
If these missions need to be more challenging, that is fine. Just make it a higher difficulty, instead of manipulating the at bats.

That's completely the point. You were upset that he walks you, so swing. Use directional hitting, it will allow you to beat most of his missions in one or two tries.

To be honest didn't even think about that, because I never play events. I prefer to play the computer. I will get on an online roll every now and then though. I

I’m not upset that he walked me. I am frustrated with cpu pitcher strike slider adjustments behind the scenes.
I just did the Josh James one first try. Why? Because he was throwing fastballs in so I cheated on one and blooped a double to right and got a first pitch cookie for a bomb.
If I have to switch to directional to complete a moment, imo there is a problem.

Cheating inside helped me get that one.
