gotta have patience.......sometimes a 6 or 7 pitch walk is more valuable than a perfect PCI, 110mph line drive....
He will get wild and even throw pitches to the backstop. Foul off anything on the edges and work to get men on base. High speed, high vision guys are the best
GOOD LUCK!! -
Yeah, this mission was the hardest for me. Took me hours and I’d always come back to it. Load your lineup with lefties. Should help that this late in year you can use yelich, ted, babe, Bellinger, Lou, chipper, etc. even if you have to play someone out of position. And restart if you don’t score 3 or more in the first inning!

I got him up to 75 pitches and he made a diving pick to end it.
Got it to 7-5 four times: is there a way to exploit this?
I've had enough.

This was the hardest one for me. I swear it took me at least 200 tries. No amount of well struck balls mattered. Everything was an out. No amount of pitches taken mattered. Everything was a borderline strike. Every time I would score the computer would lead off with a triple and a single in their next ABs. I get extreme is supposed to be hard but this one was just stupid.

This is NOT an exaggeration: it's pure luck.
I had several balls called, "extra bases," and then the outfielder made an insane catch and doubled a runner off. The game engine is admitting that the CPU is cheating: for instance, I hit a homer to right, and the announcers called it, then the ball's trajectory bent down about 10 degrees, right to the fielder.
They need to nerf this in some way, because it's the ONLY moment giving me trouble.
-
You can do it, man. If you did the Kershaw moment, you can do this one.

Isn’t this moment on all star? Can it be nerfed any more than it already is? I don’t think so

It's the CPU defense and RNG hitting: they have 0 hesitation and make highlight reel plays, routinely. They habitually making superman dives to rob game-tying or go ahead hits, which is inexcusably absurd. These players make them 2-3 times an attempt, while happening 2-3 times a year, in real life.
When Kenley doesn't make diving stops of grounders and THEN beat Cobb, Ichiro, or Gwynn in a footrace to the bag, to prevent the tying run from scoring, I'll believe that this isn't pure luck.

I beat this multiple times for people on the first try, there isn't some computer conspiracy trying to keep you from finishing it.

- That bolded claim is not even remotely believable; I respect you, but that's such an absurd thing to say.
- What was your approach to beat it? Kenley just got 2 called strikes on inside pitches, hit a batter (but it was called a ball), and got a swinging miss on a "good" timed swing by Ty Cobb that went THROUGH the ball.
- It's not a conspiracy: it's RNG.

It’s the truth, couple guys came to me to do the extreme moments for them, did them all with no issues.
He’s the only pitcher you face, his stamina goes down quick if you have a decent eye and lay off pitches and then it just becomes a home run derby
Just put your best hitters out there, doesn’t have to be all lefties

- "I don't believe you." - Ron Burgundy-
- I burned him out at least 10 times, and Wagner, Brett, and Mays put an end to my squared up fantasies.
- I went all lefty, because Jansen has way better control against righties.
- OF COURSE, after I replied to you, I completed it 9-7 lol.
-
This one was actually easier for me than some of the others. I just stacked my line up with all Lefties
My line up was something along the lines of the following not in batting order just who I used to complete it
Griffey CF
Snider LF
LS Bellinger RF
Louis Gehrig 1B
Gorge Brett 3B
AS Muncy 2B
SS Ripken Jr (was hitting over 330 with him at the time.I had Ripken and my pitcher at the bottom of the line up. Now with the better versions of some of these guys itd be even easier.

Jansen is dead; I finally killed him.
