Wrong...I have no way of proving as you have no way of proving. But, it's not about the skill, it's about the script.

The difference between guys that get the top 50 banner every month and the guys that make World Series every month is definitely user input. Those top 50 guys have far more perfect/perfect, where WS guys will square up a lot just outside of "perfect."

With two evenly skilled players that keep squaring it up instead of hitting perfects, RNG becomes a major factor and can determine the outcome regardless of the equal skill level.

Sure bud. I just accept that AI has to be created with probability based outcomes based on attributes. Sometimes you’re gonna get the bad end of a 18% probability. It’s a game.

18%, do you know something the rest of us don't? Most folks on these forums that throw out generic percentages it's, like, always 90% or 10%.

Just asking. I would accept 18% of the games being decided by the AI. But, I think it's more like 70-80%. But, your 18% seems like a number coming from someone on the inside?

    Just call me Chuck.

And events. I beat a top 50 player a week or two ago and I had absolutely no business being in that game. I probably lose the next 99 times lol

I’m really trying to refrain being insulting... but please explain how the “top” players are on top of the leaderboard every year?? The same names are up there. Did the game magically chose them to sit there every year?

If you think so, put on your tinfoil helmet

I don't think it is scripted as far as who wins vs who loses but rather gives one side the advantage or breaks. In my opinion, the top players are just good enough to overcome it. For us mid/upper level guys, it makes games we should win handily close and often causes us losses that we shouldn't have. The elite guys it might make them win by a couple rather than mercy.

In a nine inning game, no and I repeat NO top player is losing to an average player. Your post comes off as whiny and searching for an excuse. The top players are winning at a 85-90% clip against really really good players man. Sometimes it feels like the cards are stacked against you and it is frustrating no doubt, but over a large sample size your record is an accurate representation of your skill level. Sorry man

Perhaps the most misguided statement I've read on these boards. And, said with no possible facts or stats to back up the statement. That's typically the rhetoric of trolls.

Rather be a troll than obsessively whining over something that is so obvious, how are the top players in the world always at the top season after season if what you posted is remotely true

I've seen multiple posts about people realizing, early in a RS game, that the AI is going to spin everything against them and they just quit.

    Confirmation bias

You know what..the last time I played a full 9-inning game that wasn't within a run through 7 innings..was maybe never. I've had many more instances of opponents qutting on me when I get up 2 or 3 runs...than when I get behind by a couple. Either way, no one has the patience or desire to watch their effort just get pizzed away because they AI decides to spin the game. It's frustrating, irritating, and just unforgivable. $100 game shouldn't make us angry..it should make us..what?...happy.

But, all that underscores the point people are sick of the fakery. The obvious AI controlled games. Most of us just want a true simulation, not an AI fueled animation.
