Well their records are insanely good. So if you are losing to weaker players more than winning, then you just are not as good as you think.

Double-plays every time you get a guy on 1st. This is regardless where you make contact. In real MLB you hit the ball on top it typically results in a grounder. Hitting the bottom sends the ball up. There is absolutely no way, when AI decides it's DP time, to prevent it. Sometimes a strike-out is actually better.
Pitches you know you throw on the corner or outside with a perfect pitch just randomly drop right into the middle of the plate. Believe this happens mainly to help the directional batters out.
Any steal attempt, regardless of the lead, catcher, speed of the runner, results in a caught-stealing.
Deep fly balls that absolutely look like they are dropping, don't and anyone you have on base running get thrown out.
Speaking of runners on base. The most convoluted and happens WAY to often is when you have a couple guys on...you hit one deep..because of the very situation I mentioned in the last sentence you wait to see if it drops. When it does, you then start the runners...invariably they start running past each other on the bases ending in double and even triple plays.

All that we are discussing here happens to top players as well. Difference is, in my case even tho I have a winning record I’m not elite. So in order to compete I need the game to play fair. I can’t compete if my opponent’s bad input gets rewarded And my good input doesn’t. I can’t compete if the game forces my good releases to be down the middle.
Elite players can overcome that because they hit wayyyy above average. Go check the top players ERAs. You’ll be surprised.

Absolutely false. You aren't playing against bad/good players..you're playing against the AI and whatever their randomized algorithm decides is supposed to win/lose.
If a player is dreadfully bad...just swings at anything..the AI will still do anything realistically (and obviously very unrealistically) to assure the dreadfully bad player wins anyway.
How..just redirects your pitches on the outside to go right down the middle. Even the terrible using directional will put the hammer on those pitches. How else...whatever pitches the dreadfully bad throws will be so unbelievably elusive..it's near impossible to catch them. Or, the other more common...pitches you time and again square up on are just reflected in the animation as rolled-over, pop-up, double-play, OUTS in general. It's all smoke and mirrors when the animation kicks in. You can't put any stock in anything. Especially the pitch/swing placements.
Insanely good? Is anyone, or is that a concocted hierarchy that SDS created so people like you say "well, that guy is always 800", or "There records are insanely good". I'm here to tell you, if the AI wants the other guy to win...they will. Regardless of "insanely good" or "insanely bad".

The ONLY way to win these games (which is possible) is if your opponent swings at balls outside the zone or can't hit pitches down the middle. Based on these, I can usually tell within the first 3 innings whether I am going to win. Game is extremely predictable if you pay attention to the signs.
Couldn’t agree more. You forgot the check swings. The game prevents your opponent from striking out by fouling pitches on terrible timing or bad pci work and also by check singing a lot. Usually the game buys time until you hang something and boom! Tomahawk.
This could be the single biggest flaw in the game. Perfect release pitches not hitting their spots and locating pitches in general is hugely imperfect, but the check swings really add insult to injury.
You can fool a guy over and over and they just keep calling no swing. It’s really an embarrassment for the game.
If players are not able to recognize pitches, they should not be bailed out over and over.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who notices this. When I see I'm playing someone with a weaker line up and in the first 2 innings I know I'm probably not going to win the game. Lately for me the trend has been I scored the first run in the first inning, then I dominate on the pitching side and can't score more runs. Then the 4th inning comes around and somehow my pitcher gives up a hit, then there is an error then a home run then another hit. Then I warm up my bullpen because my starter threw 30 + pitches in the 4th inning alone. Then I'm just so pissed off I just log off.
You literally just quoted 75% of my games. Really glad i'm not the only one. lol sorry for that though

Unless you’ve got a clip to prove me wrong, I put forward that it is impossible for the base runners to run past each other.
Using classic base running, I do agree though that it is anarchy when you have to return multiple runners after misreading a fly.

You have no idea.
Really good players are always really good players because SDS won't get with the times and do something about connections and these people always have the same internet. I would bet my house that pitching rebel and I could swap places and I would make the WS easily and he wouldn't sniff 250-20 (or whatever the hell his ridiculous record is). You are not getting that record unless you are very good AND are on the good side of the connection virtually every game. He has been clubbing baby seals for so long, with ping based match making he doesn't sniff that record either. Maybe one day SDS will get with the times. However, they don't seem smart enough.

dont forget about OF slowing way down on some fly balls, making them impossible to catch. which always leads to the opponent cashing in a run or two.
i've seen it so much in league games recently, too. you should get out of an inning up a couple of runs, only to watch the 3rd out fall in front of an outfielder, who has clearly been arbitrarily slowed down by RNG. and of course, the inning ends with the game tied.
