Played my first Legend game after making WS

That is all

Okay, so my real thoughts are here.
I got my life dotted away by Hal. I'm talking at least five strikeouts looking because of absolutely perfect pitches on the paint.
Pitch speeds seem fine at least, even against Hal, but I'll definitely need to get used to the smaller PCI. I seemed to either time it right and be way under the ball or I was placing the PCI perfectly but was way too late. I only had 3 hits, and only one extra base hit which was a double.
Recognizing pitches out of the hand was difficult. I almost had to adjust after the pitch. But I've never hit Hal well even in lower difficulties, so maybe it's just him.
Cole Hamels doesn't seem like he's gonna cut it on Legend. I think his pitch speed differentials are almost too big, which makes pitches easier to pick up on.
I ended up getting mercied after 7 innings.
My only saving grace is that I actually matched up with a top 20 player on the lifetime boards, Tulowry, so I don't feel that bad about losing. Just gotta grind and git gud! -
Cool story bro

I thought it was. I think, as someone who is a first time World Series player, that my experience with my first Legend game could help others who break through the proverbial glass ceiling. Unfortunately, not all of us can play at an 1100 rating like my opponent did.

I definitely recognize that name from perusing the leaderboards. That’s a tough matchup on your friggen first legend game!

Yeah, I figured he was top tier when I was playing him, but top 20 and top 100 is still a pretty huge gap, I think.

Tulo is a god so don’t feel too bad. I’m very close to breaking into WS for the first time and that level of competition on legend is intimidating but is definitely fun to try and get better
-
Tulowry is one of the better players in the game, no shame in losing to him.

I thought it was. I am at best a 600 level player so I need to live vicariously through people that make it that high up.
