4th inning showdown

Easiest one yet, done first try... you need to draft a good starting pitcher and and a good closer as there is 7 points to be had based on pitching

Will actually play a showdown since it’s got a few chances at pitching. Never play because I have zero faith in my hitting along with the cpu

Just gonna throw it out there (& I’m sure it’ll somehow trigger somebody).. people can’t really complain that SDS never listens whatsoever. They’ve literally dumbed the mode down to the maximum extent. Basically giving away those program stars with how easy that showdown was.

Won't be on until later, but if anyone can list the missions, it would be wonderful.

I beat it barely. Don't underestimate the issues that some will have hitting Felix on that difficulty level.

What a joke. Went 5 for 5 in first moments. Then hit into 2 double plays and had 2 perfect-perfect fly balls to center field in the first show down. Hate this mode.

Remember when showdown only maxed at 10 runs allowed before the final boss? The first set of showdown before the patch was difficult. Now it's absurdly easy

Its easy so far. First run through havent failed a mission and just got past archer. But man.. They are giving me horrible drafts. Lol

Update: beat the showdown in my first try and it was my first showdown win lol. I wish they were all easy and fun like this instead of what I read on the forum about the awful experiences people have

Okay pitching challenge my very first pitch high away heat at 99 leaves the park. I hate showdowns for that exact reason. Nothing i did wrong. 1 pitch into the challenge its over. Man. Thats tough

Genuine question: why would you ever throw high away? Pitch the L shape from down and away to down and in, through inside to the top of the zone in. Throwing anything up and away is asking for trouble.

High and away is deadly if mixed well, untouchable if someone is sitting on another spot
