At best it is around .300 and that is being generous. Between every single perfect/perfect grounder, liner, and fly ball at least 70% of the time they find a fielders glove. The fly balls in the gap are extra excruciating when you watch the defender get a speed boost and you see his little legs turn into a blur as he gives it his best sonic impression.

Lol. Best advice i can give you is record each of your perfects in a excel spreadsheet or something, because that .300 is so far off it isn't even funny.

I been doing the same. And I'm hitting easily over .800 with perfect/perfect. Wish they can add a feature to keep track of your hitting results in next years game.

Lol they would never keep track of outcome based off of input...they would have so much explaining to do.

Hell, even against the cpu on rookie 3 out 5 perfect/perfects go for outs. I don't know the percentage exactly but I do know that's nowhere near .800

not trying to be an [censored] but youre 7 for 10 on your last 10 perfect/perfect contacts so It seems like everyone else saying .800 avg is a lie you are just exaggerating out of frustration.

Yes I'm frustrated but no I'm not exaggerating. I wish I would get even a base hit a majority of the time. I'm not begging or complaining because I expect to get a HR or a triple everytime I get perfect perfect. But against the cpu on rookie it should at least be .500. No?

Like I said, I went back and checked your last 10 perfrct perfect. You were 7 for 10. Small sample size but I imagine its pretty consistent if I keep going back further. I'm not saying you are exaggerating on purpose, I thought the .800 average thing was BS at first until I actually tracked my perfect perfects myself for a while.

I'm also factoring in my showdown runs which I don't think shows on game log. There is no exaggeration there. In showdown perfect/perfect for me easily results in a .200 BA. No joke or hyperbole.

Showdown is a whole different animal. Fielders get to balls they have absolutely no business getting to in that made. I definitely can't deny the fielders are juiced in that mode.

Track it for yourself. I did it and was very surprised/interested by the results.

It is worth doing for sure. I’m about .666 % right now in my MTO tally. I think my online is much lower but who knows.

I did plunk a batter on a perfectly released pitch, so that was interesting.

Have made outs plenty of time on perfect/perfect GROUNDERS that are straight line outs to the INFs’ chests. At least tell me it’s a perfect liner so I’m not lied to -_-

So not being too analytical but I think perfect/perfect grounders is more related to spin on the ball than actual in play animation (flyball=backspin, linedrive=more knuckleball like off the bat or with less backspin or topspin, Groundball=topspin) think of a sinking linedrive at an infielder for example, that would fall more into groundball than linedrive with how much top spin there is.

I say SDS take out this Perfect/Perfect thing out for next year's game, you casuals are thinking too much about it and its hurting your feeling when you aren't hitting bombs.

Offense in this game is a glorified dice simulator. Can square it up with your best hitter using a power swing and it’s a perfect line out. Next batter you can pretty much miss it completely and it will be a hit/homer. It’s a joke I wish there was another halfway decent baseball game on the market so that sds would focus on making their game make sense rather than monetizing their micro transactions which seems to be all they care about.

I usually dont care about perfect/perfect outs, but had one today that I couldn't help but laugh at. Showdown, p/p fly ball from Polanco that the CF took 1 step back and caught it 10-15 feet in front of the track.

    Kind of hilarious really.
